Description
The Grange stables, with its treasured thatched roof, is a luxury bolt hole in a quiet corner of South Somerset. Originally built in the 18th century, we have recently converted and modernised it into a stunning self-contained open plan space with its own entrance and separate kitchen. Close to the amenities of Castle Cary, Bruton and Sherborne. Lots of excellent walks and fantastic pubs/restaurants all within close proximity. Perfect for couples or a small family. Excellent wifi The space This self-contained property has recently been renovated and modernised to create a gorgeous unique space. It has its own entrance on the ground floor opening into a well-equipped kitchen with double hob, combination microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, washing machine. The kitchen has a bar for eating although there is a further eating area in the main area upstairs. There is an elegant staircase leading up to the large (15m/45feet) open plan space which includes a living area with sofa, coffee table and large smart tv; a further eating/work area with round dining table and four chairs; and a sleeping area with king size double bed, chest of drawers and hanging space. The whole space has two large windows opening out onto stunning views across the garden and open fields. The shower room is at one end of the living area and there is a small extra room at the other end by the sleeping area which would be suitable for a baby/child to sleep in. There is good wifi availability and speed. Sheets and towels are provided and are all 100% cotton. Free parking is available at the back of the property. Guest access The entire space is available during your rental period. You are welcome to wander around our gardens and use our tennis court with prior permission. Other things to note Cleaning fee of £25 per short visit 2-3 days, £40 for longer.
