Take memorable day trips to Camden (25 miles) and Acadia National Park (52 miles), and swing by Young's Lobster Pound for dinner on your way home. Begin and end each day in the tranquil outdoor spaces, listening to the songs of nesting birds in the trees. In the mornings, bring your first cup of coffee outside to the large, elevated deck; in the evenings, gather to roast marshmallows and tell stories around the firepit. Built in 1987 and thoughtfully remodeled in recent years, this charming cottage is full of natural light, pine floors, and lofty, open spaces.
