The Nest is situated on the second and third floors of this charming Old Portland home. The house is central to everything Eastside, boasting a walk score of 94! Belmont & Hawthorne have incredible eateries, bars and shopping only a few steps away. It is also very close to the heart of the Division, Stark, SE 28th & Burnside commercial districts. It's a 5 minute walk to Laurelhurst Park, voted the most beautiful park on the west coast, & only 2 miles from downtown, The Pearl and Mt. Tabor Park. The space On the second floor (the main floor of the flat), you will find a large bedroom with a king bed and RokuHDTV, a newly remodeled bathroom, a living room with RokuHDTV, workspace, and a comfortable pullout couch. The third floor is a unique attic space with an additional queen bed and additional seating area. There is also a kitchenette/dining room with a sink, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster. It is stocked with all the dishes and flatware, etc...you will need. The house has A/C. The Nest is a duplex, and you have your own private secure entry at the top of the stairs. Guest access When you enter the front door, you will continue up the stairs to the coded door-lock at the top. Note the thermostat on the way up the stairwell, that is how you can adjust the temperature on the main floor of The Nest. The second bedroom, in the attic, has its own controllable heat source. Other things to note Prohibition is over. We have noticed that many people visiting Portland are curious and/or excited about cannabis. The Nest is cannabis friendly. Feel free to smoke or ingest cannabis in the Nest. We also provide a card to redeem at Farma, Portland's most awarded dispensary, for a $2 preroll and 10% off of your other purchases. So enjoy! Please note that there is a strict no tobacco use in The Nest. You may smoke tobacco on the front porch. Also know that the owner smokes Cannabis downstairs and you may notice it.
