This cozy log cabin in the Deep Gap area just east of Boone is the magical mountain getaway you've been craving! As you enter the home you’ll love the classic cabin feeling in the great room. This room offers exposed-beam vaulted tongue & groove ceilings, a stone gas fireplace with TV mounted above and cozy furniture arranged in front of it, dining table for 6, and a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an island that also has 2 bar stools. Newly installed fiber internet keeps you connected while you relax. Highlander Cabin offers 3 beautiful bedrooms for you to enjoy. On the main level is a King suite with TV and access to the deck, and the private bath has a tub/shower combo. Upstairs are two more bedrooms. One has a King bed and the other has a set of twin-over-full bunk beds, and each room has a TV. These two rooms share a full bath with a tub/shower. You’re sure to love relaxing outside on the deck and enjoy the cool mountain air. The main level deck has a selection of Adirondack chairs and a gas grill. Enjoy the views of the timeless Blue Ridge mountains rolling into the distance and relax in the newly added 6-seater hot tub! Highlander Cabin is located just east of Boone in the picturesque Deep Gap area, very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the town of Boone is just a scenic 15 minute drive away. All of the best shopping, dining, and attractions in the High Country are close by as well. Come make Highlander Cabin your home away from home! Additional Notes: - Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. - Check-in is after 4pm and Check-out is by 10am. -This home has a moderately steep, gravel driveway that is best suited for vehicles with high clearance. AWD/4WD vehicles are required during winter months. ​​​​​​​- Parking capacity for 4 vehicles. There are 6 steps to enter the main level. - All BRMR homes come with a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - Repeat guests of Highlander Cabin will receive a 5% discount for visiting again! • Check in is after 4pm • Checkout by 10am • This home allows up to 4 mature dogs. Please be sure to list your pets, and it will be included in the total shown. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable. • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. • Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions. • Host is not responsible for items left in the home. • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions sent by Host (property manager) within 60 days of arrival.
