Locally, just a 5 minute drive to Millerton Lake Recreation area, and near to numerous other Sierra lakes and rivers. If you enjoy fishing or golfing, there’s plenty available within 5 to 15 minutes drive! Our historic 18 acre ranch offers you refuge and relaxation in your private guest casita, with panoramic views right outside your back door and private covered patio. And if that’s not enough for your outdoor enjoyment, you can while away the hours in our enchanting eucalyptus grove, where you can rest among the birds, and rustling leaves in a second story treehouse, or swing in a hammock beneath the shady trees! When you’ve had enough rest, you can enjoy our game court with a low key game of horseshoes, shuffleboard, or cornhole! Your chef's kitchen, is fully stocked with pantry items such as spices, oils and a few light breakfast and snack items to get you through the start of your stay. It is well organized and sparkling clean, with professional grade pots and pans, and everything you need to cook to your hearts content! A spacious and comfortable hybrid king size bed, covered with luxury linens, that have been sanitized for your comfort, will bring you a restful night sleep. Numerous built in closets and drawers for all your belongings. and a cozy reading chair that folds out into a chaise, or an additional twin size bed for a single guest. Your bathroom is spacious and sanitary, and stocked with shower toiletries, plush towels and plenty of toilet tissue. A convenient stacking laundry unit right in the hallway, can launder all your clothing before you go home. Your livingroom is spacious, modern and cozy, with a 40" app-based TV. French doors from either your livingroom or bedroom lead out onto your private patio, where you can barbeque, and catch awe inspiring views of the unique plateau backdrop, where sunsets never cease to enchant. And of course, the neighboring chickens and surrounding grazing cattle seem to bring peace and relaxation just by being present. Pack your suitcase, and come. We are on a septic sewage system that relies on the biodegradability of the waste flushed down. Flushing non biodegradable items will result in clogs and even overflows, and will be charged to the guest if it is found that they did not abide by this request. -This is a wilderness area. Although we have an excellent regular pest control service, you may encounter insects and wildlife on occasion.
