Located on a hill in the beautiful Sierra Nevada National Park, just a 15-minute drive from Granada city center, the house offers stunning views of both sunrises over snow-covered mountains and sunsets. It is the perfect place to visit The Alhambra and Granada, with its restaurants and nightlife. It is also an excellent place for lovers of nature, cycling, and hiking. Both the Sierra Nevada ski resort and the Costa Tropical of Granada on the Mediterranean Sea are just a 40-minute drive away. The space The villa sits at the edge of Sierra Nevada National Park - literally the last house in La Zubia village before the trails begin. It's a modern build with some 16th-century details worked in, so you get rustic charm with all the modern comforts, such as heating and super-fast wifi. Sleeps 8 comfortably: * Master bedroom (first floor): King bed, sofa bed, and a balcony with sunset views over the valley * Two more bedrooms (first floor): One with a double bed, one with two singles * Tower bedroom (second floor): King bed, 360° views, and a work desk Bathrooms: Large bathroom with a shower on the first floor, plus a ground-floor bathroom with a shower Main living area (ground floor): Open-plan kitchen and living room, both with working fireplaces. Two fireplaces mean cozy winter evenings after skiing or exploring Granada. The living room has a big comfortable sofa, a 42'' smart TV with streaming services, and a work desk if you need it. Kitchen & amenities: Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, stovetop, and everything you need to cook. Washing machine for longer stays. Super-fast 300Mb wifi throughout - work desks in the tower bedroom and living room if you need to check in with the office. Outside: The pool and garden are the heart of summer stays here. Views of the Sierra Nevada and the valley stretch out in front of you. There's an outdoor daybed by the pool that's genuinely hard to leave once you're settled in, plus an outdoor dining area right outside the kitchen, and a BBQ perfect for evening meals. What's included: Bed linens and towels provided. High chair and crib available on request. Location: 15 minutes to Granada city center, 40 minutes to Sierra Nevada ski resort, 40 minutes to Mediterranean beaches. Close enough to everything, far enough out to truly unwind. Good to Know Getting around: A car is highly recommended for this location. While public transport, Uber, and local taxis are available, having your own vehicle makes exploring Granada, Sierra Nevada, and the surrounding area much more comfortable and flexible. Neighborhood: Local restaurants and grocery stores are just a few minutes' drive away. You can walk (about 15 minutes downhill), but the return trip is a steep climb back up to the house - most guests prefer to drive. Pool season & safety: The pool is open from May through October. There is no pool safety fence, so we recommend that all guests be comfortable swimmers. Fireplaces & BBQ: Firewood for the fireplaces is not provided, but lumber stores are nearby. Charcoal for the BBQ is also not included. Stairs: The villa has multiple floors, including a tower bedroom on the second floor - something to consider if you have mobility concerns. Parking: Private parking inside locked gates with room for at least four cars, with additional street parking available right outside the property. Guest access You'll have full access to the entire villa and grounds, including the garage (where the washing machine is located - door is next to the downstairs bathroom). Areas not accessible to guests are secured with padlocks and clearly marked, including the downstairs garden. Arrival: When you arrive, just ring the doorbell at the gate and we'll open it remotely. You can park inside the property or on the street outside - whichever you prefer. A member of our team can also meet you to show you around and answer any questions. Please note: firewood for the fireplaces and charcoal for the BBQ are not provided, but stores are nearby. Other things to note House rules: - No smoking inside the villa - This is a quiet residential area - perfect for families and relaxation, but not suitable for parties The area: La Zubia is an authentic Spanish village with local markets and traditional restaurants - you won't find tourist crowds here. Hiking trails start right from the house into Sierra Nevada National Park. From the villa, you're 15 minutes to Granada city center and the Alhambra, 40 minutes to Sierra Nevada ski slopes, and 40 minutes to the Mediterranean coast.
