The Green Room is a comfortable, clean, green, private one-bedroom space with all you need for a short stay. Our stand-alone guest suite offers a queen sized bed, bathroom, small fridge, AC, tea and coffee facilities, breakfast options, including honey from our rooftop beehives. 🐝🍯 Just what you need to relax between visiting loved ones, working nearby, or exploring the area. Being centrally located in Tauranga City, The Green Room is a convenient location to town and Mount Maunganui. ☀️🌊⛱️ The space Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac and surrounded by green you’ll find the guest suite. It is stand alone from our main family home with its own entrance and parking space out front and private small deck. The bedroom, kitchenette, small workspace and bathroom has all you need for a short stay in Tauranga. Fit with air conditioning/heat pump, enabling your preferred temperature conditions. The Green Room has been constructed using reclaimed timber and items from a demolished bach, giving it character and being eco conscious. Guest access The guest suite is fully self-contained. The deck in front of main house is for our families use. To get to the air bnb it is best if you have your own car. There is bus access on Waihi road and about a 40min walk into town. Other things to note We are a young busy family and are generally up and out for school in the mid-week mornings and family ventures on the weekends. Expect some noise from the kids but we will try keep it at a minimum during guests stay. You’ll get some general traffic noise coming from the freeway. Beehives on top of sleepout, whist you shouldn’t encounter a bee may not be best if you are anaphylactic. The green room is surrounded by green as is much of NZ! Reserve and bush, every now and then there’s an uninvited critter, typically native cockroaches. This is not a indication of lack of cleanliness, we keep the place spotless, but just something we can’t control! Apologies in advance for uninvited guests! The green room might not be suitable if bugs aren’t your thing!
