Woodbine Cottage Sandsend

This special cottage is a stones throw away from the beach making it the perfect base for your summer or winter holiday by the sea. The cosy village pub is 3 doors away with its inviting beer garden in summer and roaring log fire in winter. Cafes are plentiful and Whitby is a stroll along the beach or a short bus ride away. Sandsend is perfectly placed to explore North Yorkshire, not least its own stunning beach. On street and pay and display parking are plentiful and close by. The space The cottage has 2 bedrooms, the master of which is on the top floor with an amazing view out to sea. This room has a half bathroom comprising a loo and wash basin. There is also a twin room and shower room to the first floor. Downstairs has a cosy lounge with a wood burner for those winter breaks and underfloor heating. Double doors lead you to the kitchen and dining space. At the rear of the cottage are bi fold doors which open onto a yarden, which is the perfect spot for breakfast on sunny days. When the weather is good, it’s lovely to have the doors open and to bring the outside in. Beach chairs can be found upstairs in the boiler cupboard and there is a picnic hamper on top of the fridge and blanket in the dresser if you fancy lunch on the beach. Please do borrow them if you wish, returning them clean after use. Guest access The whole cottage is for you enjoy. Other things to note The cottage has an open staircase. This is worth knowing should you have small children. The flooring downstairs is slate so therefore probably not great for crawling and toddling on. Perhaps not the best place to stay if you have children under 8. If you would like to discuss with us before booking should you have younger children, then please do message. Dogs are more than welcome, however we request that their four paws remain strictly on the floor. Dogs are not allowed upstairs and are not permitted on or in the beds. Thank you.
