Description

This is our smart terrace right in the heart of The Dukeries area of Hull. Our neighbourhood is a close satellite of the city centre - the station and St. Stephens are only a few minutes' drive away. The area is full of late Victorian character with Prince's Avenue just at the top of our street, offering trendy shops, bars and restaurants. We want our house to be, despite the cliché - a home from home. It is equipped with everything a family (or two couples) may need for a short or long stay. The space Living Room A warm and inviting space with a traditional fireplace and a dark feature wall which creates a cosy room with character and charm. It’s the ideal spot to relax with a book, watch a film, or enjoy some downtime. Dining Room This light and spacious room connects the living area to the kitchen and opens directly to the courtyard. The large table comfortably seats six, making it ideal for family meals, dinner with friends, or planning the day’s adventures over breakfast. The décor creates a relaxed and homely feel. Kitchen Stylish and well-equipped, the kitchen combines modern design with a touch of retro charm. A gas hob, electric oven, microwave, and fridge freezer provide everything you need to cook at home. Wooden worktops, open shelving, and geometric tiles bring character and practicality to the space. Bathroom Beautifully finished, the bathroom is modern and thoughtfully designed. It includes a walk-in shower with a glass screen, a vessel sink and soft lighting. The overall look is clean, contemporary, and stylish. Bedroom One This calming and comfortable room features a wrought iron bed, crisp bedding, and wooden floors. A vintage wardrobe provides storage, and soft lighting creates a relaxing feel. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few weeks, this room offers a peaceful place to rest and recharge. Bedroom Two Ideal for guests working remotely or needing a quiet space, this second double bedroom includes a small writing desk. The bed is neatly dressed with striped bedding, and there are decorative touches. The overall feel is bright, calm and relaxing. Courtyard Seating Area A private and sheltered outdoor area with bench seating, garden chairs, and a table perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. A welcoming outdoor space, even on cooler days. Locality Pearson Park, located between Princes Avenue and Beverley Road, is a Victorian park established in the 1860s as Hull's first public park. It features a central duck pond, tree-lined pathways, and open green areas ideal for dog walking. Dogs are welcome on leads throughout the park. Facilities include a children’s play area, outdoor gym, café, toilets, and restored heritage elements such as statues, a conservatory, and a drinking fountain. The property is also within easy reach of Hull’s city centre. St. Stephen’s Shopping Centre and the train station are just a few minutes’ drive away, making it a convenient base whether you're visiting for leisure or work. Guest access The house is yours throughout your stay! Other things to note The on-street parking is free and access to major routes in and out of the city is straightforward.
