The River House sits on 7.5 acres on the Yakima River. Enjoy Fishing, Kayaking, Nature Watching, Dinners on the deck by the fire-pit & Sunsets. We offer 1 bedroom with a queen bed, full bath, kitchen, laundry room, living room & dining room. The house is well stocked with the essentials. My Dad does stay here in his RV & often you will see us dropping our kayaks in the river or sitting in the fishing hole. NO worries there's plenty of room to have your own space. (Kayaks extra fee if avail). The space Your room looks out at the river and has an extremely comfortable queen bed. The main bath is fully stocked and decorated in a river theme, the kitchen is stocked with essentials as well and includes complimentary coffee & bottled water. The living room has 2 couches that have 4 electric recliners that look out to the river. The dining room also looks out to the river and is stocked with games and cards for you to enjoy. There is a laundry room is available. My Dad does stay on the property in his RV. You will see him running around taking care of the land and sitting by the river. Often you will see me and my husband Ken dropping our kayaks in the river or coming off the water. Or we might be sitting in the fishing hole. But NO worries there's plenty of room to have your own space. There are over 7 acres for you to take a nature walk I highly recommend it the property is lovely. Just be respectful of our neighbors and don't wonder onto their land. If you are interested in kayaks please message me for availability and we do charge an extra fee for the use of them. Guest access We will give you a code to access the house the day of check in. When you arrive drive up the gravel driveway toward the house and park in the parking spots next to the garden. Walk around to the river side of the house and you'll see the front door to access the house. We hope you don't need them but there is a First Aid kit on top of the refrigerator and a Fire Extinguisher in the kitchen. The house and grounds are free to roam, only our personal room is locked & off limits. No pets and no smoking in the house is permitted. Stay out of all locked off/keep out areas Use river at your own risk Owner, Owners Family and not responsible or liable for any injuries or claims. Use at your own risks. We truly hope you enjoy your stay. Other things to note This is a place to relax and have fun. Nope, It's not a 5 star hotel but we think it's better! Please be safe near the river. IT looks calm but it is still dangerous. For this reason we do not allow children. Parts of the river bank are step and the ground unsteady please use caution when walking along the river's edge. The house is not ADA compliant and there are no handrails in the bathrooms. No Fires are permitted except for the gas fire-pit. No smoking permitted in the house or around the property accept for in designated smoking areas.
