This Peaceful Garden Apartment is close enough to downtown yet far enough away to enjoy nature's treasures. It is located in the garden level of our home and has its own private entrance. It is conveniently located in Chattanooga's north side, next to Hixson and Red Bank. Groceries, gas, hospitals, hiking trails, restaurants, and Chattanooga's downtown are only minutes away making it a popular apartment for all length of stays. We live upstairs and are quiet, we have no children or *pets. The space *NO ANIMALS PLEASE: This is a hypoallergenic home. Our single-family home is owner occupied. We are both severely allergic to dogs, cats, furry animals, scents and fragrances. We clean the apartment between each guest and cannot risk exposure to distressing allergens. Our lovely home has a completely private garden apartment with its own dedicated parking space. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including a full-sized range and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, tableware and a full set of cookware. The living room is comfortably furnished with a Broyhill sofa and chair and an HDTV for relaxing evenings. The bedroom has a restful Doctor's Choice®, queen-sized bed covered by one of Joanna's hand sewn quilts, an ample closet and a roomy dresser for folded clothes. The writer's desk is perfect for working remotely (300 mbps wifi) and the bathroom has a laundry room used by guests only. Guest access You have your own private entrance with 24/7 access by way of lock-box. Other things to note If you decide to request a stay, please tell us a little about yourself including your name and the nature of your stay. If you're bringing a guest, let us know the name of your guest as well. We are semi-retired and work from home. Our property is completely maintained by us. All communication will be direct, and you can expect quick and courteous replies to any questions or concerns. Heating and cooling are controlled by a single thermostat in our living area upstairs. Guest comfort is our main priority. Please let us know if you would like us to adjust the thermostat and we will gladly do that. If we are away, the temperature can be adjusted by using an app on our phone.
