Maximum adults: 4 The Barn is set in beautiful private gated grounds on a quiet country lane, in an AONB. It is within easy reach of the A34 and M4, as well as the market towns of Newbury, Wantage and Hungerford. The nearest pubs are within easy walking / cycling distance. The River Kennet runs through the grounds leading to the canal and towpaths making visiting Hungerford and Newbury a pleasure by foot or bicycle. Fantastic rail routes from Newbury / only 50 minutes from London. The space The Barn is a single-storey building that has been recently and lovingly renovated. It boasts an impressive open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area centred around a large wood-burning stove. One ensuite bedroom (emperor bed and shower in the master suite). Two further bedrooms (twin beds / king size double) sharing a roll top bathroom. A fully equipped boot and utility room with a washing machine & tumble dryer. The bedrooms offer feather pillows and duvets, cotton bed linen and towels, as well as luxurious bathroom products. There is underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, steam oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, dishwasher, kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. The Barn has its own private woodland garden with an outdoor seating area, fire pit, BBQ and endless den building possibilities! Please note that the check-in time is at 4 PM, with check-out also at 4 PM, providing a generous 24-hour stay each night to ensure you can relax and fully enjoy the property. Guest access Entire Barn - Private Rental The Barn is located within the grounds of the main house, so you may occasionally see us or our animals on the house side. However, the woodland garden behind the Barn is completely private for your enjoyment. Other things to note Access to the property is via a short 20-meter walk across grass from the parking area. For your convenience, wheelbarrows are available to help transport any heavy items.
