Welcome to the magic of waterfront Deep Cove living. Deep Cove, in North Vancouver is truly a gem of BC, surrounded by nature but only a 20 minute drive to downtown Vancouver. Cold plunge or a kayak from your private dock, or take a 20 minute stroll through the forest to eat Vancouver's best doughnuts. Both kid and pet friendly, this place is a perfect spot for a memorable family or friends gathering. The space The home has 3 stories, and booking this space gives you private and exclusive access to the upper floor and main floor, both with private balconies and incredible ocean views. The upper floor has 3 bedrooms: The very spacious master (King) bedroom featuring lush Four Seasons bedding, a large bathtub overlooking the ocean, an indoor fireplace, a cozy lounge chair, and a private balcony. There are two additional guest rooms (one King bed and one Queen bed) which share an ensuite Jack & Jill bathroom with soaker tub. The Queen guest room features a workspace overlooking the ocean and a TV with Netflix. The main floor has an expansive open kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room, powder room, and additional bedroom (featuring full sized adult bunk beds), which includes a small office/children's playroom equipped with various books and toys. There is a beautiful balcony on the main floor with outdoor dining for 8 (squishy 10), an outdoor fireplace, and a daybed perfect for two or three to snuggle up and enjoy a morning beverage or evening glass of wine. The lower floor is beautiful studio space that has been recently renovated with its own private kitchen, featuring a queen bed and full bathroom. This space is a perfect nanny suite or gym space. This space has its own private entrance, and will either be owner occupied or guest occupied during your stay. There is a private lawn overlooking the water and private dock with 3 kayaks & two SUP boards + paddles for guest use. There is also a swim ladder and chairs for enjoying a drink or some quiet time on the dock. During low tide, a large private beach emerges, and you can walk all the way to Strathcona park, seeing an abundance of clams and starfish along the way. Please note that patio furnishings and indoor fireplaces are seasonal, and kayaks will be stored from November through mid March in accordance with the safety rules of the Deep Cove Kayak Club. Guest access The main floor and upper floor are entirely private, as is the main balcony. The lower floor is either owner or guest. The private dock is also shared, but guests of this listing have priority. Other things to note **2025 update** My neighbours next door are currently building their dream home, and it is possible that some of their construction noise will be audible during your stay. I am in close communication with them and will do everything I can to set proper expectations for your booking. **2026 update** The new home next door is scheduled to be “locked up” as of March 2026, at which time construction will be limited to the interior.
