Super-cool garden flat with private patio

A beautiful, light and airy double bedroom with en-suite bathroom in the garden flat of a 1930s country house. The room is stylishly decorated and has its own private dining area and private patio with views across a mature wooded garden. The bed has a new pocket sprung mattress, with white Egyptian cotton bed linen and good quality pillows. High quality white towels. There is use of a shared kitchen, with everything you need to make and store food. The space You enter the flat via the front door which opens onto a shared entrance hall. The house is on a hill so although you enter at ground level to get to the garden flat you go down stairs. At the bottom of the stairs there is a cloakroom with a shared space for shoes and boots and shared coat hooks. The cloakroom is part of a hallway that includes a small kitchen at the far end. Your bedroom is immediately on the left. I live in the two rooms at the far end of the hallway. One of the wonderful things about the place in summer is that it stays really cool. This is because the house is on a hill, so the back of the flat is below ground level. In summer 2022 this was particularly handy. Super cool in more than one way! The flat has a very calm and peaceful air about it. I love it! There is an acre of garden to wander round. Outdoor amenities include a table tennis table with four bats and balls under one of the trees. Guest access You can access the hallway and the shared kitchen. During your stay I live in the other two rooms in the flat, but keep myself to myself. I am on hand if you have any questions. I work for my own company in Oxford - 20 minutes away - so can easily return to the flat if I need to.
