Le Relais de Poste d 'Auxi

Come and recharge your batteries in this old Relais de Poste built in the 18th century. The house is located in the Authie Valley, in the charming village of Auxi le Château. The 2200 m2 garden has an orchard part that is bordered by the river. The house can accommodate 7 people. Dogs, cats and other pets are welcome at no extra cost. The beaches and the Bay of Somme are 45 minutes away by car (Le Crotoy, Le Tréport, Fort-Mahon Plage...). The space Dogs and cats are welcome at Relais d'Auxi at no extra charge. The garden is fully enclosed. Ground floor - Large room including kitchen, dining room and a living area with a fireplace. In the kitchen: refrigerator, 4 hotplates, oven, coffee machine, toaster. - Large separate living room with dining table with extension - Bathroom with bathtub and toilet - Laundry room with washing machine, iron and a large extra fridge/freezer. Floor - A bedroom for 2 people with bathroom and toilet, and very nice view of the garden (with shutter) - A bedroom for 2 people with a very nice view of the garden - A large bedroom for 2 people - A bedroom for 1 person The beds are Japanese beds (futons). Outside - Large garden of more than 2000 m2 which includes an orchard part (apple, pear, cherry, mulberry trees) which is bordered by the Authie. - Terrace - Wooden garden table and chairs, parasol. -Barbecue Amenities - Sheets, towels, dish towels are provided (cotton, linen). - I use natural products for laundry and cleaning. - The house is free of animal material, zero waste and zero plastic Exception: I have feather duvets and wool blankets that come from my grandmother. If that bothers you, let me know and we'll figure it out. The house does not contain a television or microwave, by choice. For dog friends, we provide: - A large garden of 2200 m2 fully enclosed - 3 bowls - An outdoor water point - The river that flows at the bottom of the garden (gate with a key) - Towels to wipe them down after swimming in the river - A first aid kit (tick remover, compresses, disinfectant, etc.) - Hikes nearby, beaches For your furry friends, we provide: - Cardboard boxes to hide - Towels - A blanket to protect from scratches - A first aid kit (as for dogs) - A litter box upon request Please specify at the time of booking that you are coming with animals, so that I can prepare the bowls, towels, etc. Guest access Entire accommodation with private land at your disposal. Other things to note The woodshed is accessible if you wish to make a fire.
