The dog and family friendly spacious Lodge was the Matrons house in the grounds of an infirmary, now a special school for pupils with autism.. the Lodge has a lounge with a double sofa bed, separate dinning room & separate kitchen and utility area. Upstairs there are two bedrooms- one king and one twin bedroom along with a dedicated office area and a spacious bathroom. There’s a secure small gated garden & onsite parking. It’s very close to Stone Bay beach, & a 10 minute walk to Broadstairs. The space The Lodge is a school house that is situated at the front of our beautiful grounds. Our special needs pupils help to clean the Lodge, learning independent life skills through meaningful work experience. All money raised is donated to our school charity. Guest access Your own front door and back door with a small enclosed grassed garden. You can also park your car on the school grounds. Other things to note Dogs are welcome! Please note for safeguarding reasons - Checkout is 8.00am on Mondays during school term time. Check in on Fridays is after 4pm during term time. All other days check in is after 3pm and checkout is 10.30am. Although if we can we often allow a later checkout particularly on Sundays. You will be emailed remote access details 1 day prior to your visit. Thank you Our Lodge offers free WiFi to our guests however on rare occasions due to circumstances outside of our control the WiFi may go down. Additionally as the lodge is situated in a school there will most likely be maintenance work within the school grounds during school holidays. We endeavour to reduce this as much as possible.
