Little Chelsea Town House

Perfectly located home in the centre of Eastbourne's coolest neighbourhood, Little Chelsea. There is so much literally on your doorstep. At the end of the road is one of Eastbourne's nicest streets, Grove Road, which is filled with independent shops and cool cafes. The beach, theatres and Towner Art Gallery are only 10 mins walk away and the High Street and shopping centre are 5 mins walk away and the station just 3 mins away. The house is spacious with a beautiful south facing courtyard garden. The space The house is our family home. You will have the place to yourself but we will close off the upper floors. The accommodation consists of: Living room/dining room - easily seats 4 around the table and on the sofas. TV and DVD player. Kitchen - includes washing machine, fridge, freezer, electric oven and hob. Master bedroom - very large room with king sized bed. 2nd bedroom - good sized double room with king sized bed. Bathroom - with 3/4 size bath and over bath shower. We are lucky that the garden is south facing making it a lovely sun trap to enjoy your breakfast lunch or dinner. The garden is filling up with beautiful English Country garden planting making it a lovely spot to relax. There is a small pond which is great for promoting wildlife but please supervise small children. Guest access The upper floors of the house will be roped off - please do not access these areas. Other things to note Local area: There is so much to do here! Relaxing - We are in the heart of Little Chelsea and at the end of the road you will find a selection of lovely independent shops and cafes to browse and relax. Culture - The Towner Art Gallery, Congress Theatre, Devonshire Theatre and Winter Gardens are on our doorstep. Charleston Farmhouse is near by as well as Farley Farm and the De Le Warr Pavilion in Bexhill. History - Lewes Castle, Pevensey Castle, Hastings Castle Nature - The seafront is a short walk away. Beachy Head and the Downs are on our doorstep with Birling Gap and the Seven Sisters National Park a short distance away. Look out for the Wilmington Long Man and White Horse! Sport - paragliding near to Lewes, watersports on the seafront and at Cuckmere Haven, several local golf courses. Kids - Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, Treasure Island Adventure Play, Ninja Arena, Sovereign Leisure Centre, Knockhatch Adventure Park, Drusilla's Zoo, Ten pin bowling, Paradise Park, My Skateworld, Cineworld (in the Beacon). Travel and parking: Train Eastbourne train station is about 3 minutes walk away - there are regular services to London, Brighton, Lewes and Hastings Bus At the end of the road are many bus stops with lots of buses serving Sussex and the local area. This includes buses to popular spots such as Beachy Head, Birling Gap and the Seven Sisters National Park. Taxi There is a taxi rank at the train station Parking The house is in a residents parking area, in force Mon-Sat 8am - 6pm. There is all day free parking less than 5 minutes walk away in: Saffrons Road, Meads Road, Grange Road and surrounding areas.
