Wolds Rest

Come and experience the charm and beauty of the Yorkshire Wolds; a haven for wellbeing and a joy for the soul. We invite you to relax and stay in our quirky little dog friendly farm cottage, surrounded by the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds and 30 minutes away from the Jurassic East Yorkshire coast. Discover the wonderful walks, take a bike ride or take a trip to the beach. Sample the nearby country pubs or simply just stay home, eat alfresco and gaze at the night sky. The space Wolds Rest is a small farmworker’s cottage that we fully renovated a couple of years ago. We loved it so much, we couldn’t bring ourselves to part with this one! A small vestibule leads into the lounge - again small….but perfectly formed - two sofas and a cosy log burner for the winter evenings. On to the fully fitted kitchen area and a seating area overlooking the patio, outdoor dining area and on to the private and secure rear garden. The shower room is downstairs and upstairs, the master bedroom complete with a beautiful ‘claw foot’ bath overlooking the rear garden. Both bedrooms are a good size and have plenty of hanging space. Guest access Entire House. There is a key lock box and the combination will be sent on the day of arrival. We would ask that doggies stay downstairs and are not left in the cottage unattended. Other things to note There is a private driveway for our guests to park one car. There is also a garage at Wolds Rest, that is just used for storage purposes by the hosts. It may however be accessed by further negotiation with the hosts for secure cycle storage, for example.
