Both turn purple and orange at sunset -- an amazing sight to enjoy from the warmth of our year-round hot tub! More than 100 horses roam freely in the fields of nearby Cheley Camp (walkable via a paved multi-use path), and a few blocks away is a dirt road leading to the incredible Forest Service trail network off of USFS 119. Up there you'll find hiking trails leading into Homestead Meadows, with old historic and deserted cabins dating back a hundred years. Our home is super close to thousands of square miles of open space and public land, so all the wildlife will likely be roaming around when you're on the deck enjoying the views. Our home features an upper floor with three bedrooms and two bathrooms; a main floor with an open kitchen/dining/living area and an attached deck with private hot tub; and a bottom floor with a laundry room and media room. Our speedy 1gb fiber is the fastest available Internet in Estes. ENTERTAINMENT Deck - Honestly, sitting on the deck may be the most entertaining thing to do in Estes Park! The views are amazing, particularly at dawn and dusk, and the animals roaming around can make you feel like you're at a zoo during certain months. Great hot tub, outdoor dining & BBQ to boot! Living Room - We've got a TV in the living room loaded with channel apps, plus a pellet stove(CURRENTLY OUT OF ORDER) and board games. Media Room - the downstairs media room has a super comfortable sofa, a 55" HD smart TV, and a small laptop friendly workspace. BEDROOMS Bedroom 1 - A king bedroom with the best views, plus an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet Bedrooms 2 & 3 - Two queen bedrooms with a shared bath down the hallway Bedroom 4 - Not really a bedroom, but the media room has a convertible sofa bed KITCHEN & DINING Kitchen - Our well-equipped kitchen features all the large and small appliances you'd need, as well as a comprehensive array of tools and utensils for all your meal preparation endeavors. Dining - The dining table has 8 chairs and is right off the kitchen. Other things to note NEIGHBORS & NOISE It is super important for us to maintain a peaceful environment for our neighbors. We request that guests refrain from hosting parties or playing loud music that may disrupt their tranquility. To ensure this, we use Minut Noise Monitors that detect sound levels and alert us of any disturbances. SMOKING AND FIRES To minimize the risk of fire, smoking is prohibited on the premises. Outdoor wood fire pits are also illegal in Estes Park's vacation homes. AIR CONDITIONER Our property does not feature air conditioning, but the refreshing mountain breeze that flows from the peaks cools down the place quickly in the evenings when the windows are open. BEARS To ensure guest safety, we urge visitors not to leave any food items in their cars as bears frequent the area and may attempt to break in. MINUT To maintain guest safety and protect the property, we utilize Minut noise monitors that track decibel levels, temperature, and humidity. These devices are not recording audio and are located on the kitchen ceiling to detect any party gatherings and prevent noise complaints from neighbors.
