Perfect for a couple or 2 friends since there’s also a comfortable pull-out couch to sleep on,apart from the bed upstairs in the mezzanine. A fully equipped kitchen and of course your own private bathroom with shower complete our perfect little apartment which we decorated with lots of things from Bali! Can you spot them? And we mean it: We brought almost all of the decoration straight from Bali, so you get to experience authentic modern Balinese style paired with the comfort of a super cozy apartment very close to La Rochelle’s beautiful city center! The apartment is completely home-built,from the wooden staircase to the unique kitchen. We put a lot of work into this space and we just know you’re going to love it as much as we do! And here’s what you get: - Studio apartment with mezzanine - 2 sleeping options (each for 2 people): pullout couch downstairs, bed upstairs - Cozy living area with comfortable pullout couch - Bathroom with shower - Fully equipped kitchen with fridge (incl. freezer) and induction stove - Large skylight with electric shades - Private entrance accessible from the street - Wifi - Heater/Fan (NO AC!) - mobile AC device upstairs (it’s a portable cooling device so it is not suitable to cool down the whole apartment but it can be useful during a hot summer night to help you sleep comfortably) Guest access The apartment will be all yours! There’s a private entrance which is accessible from the street. The apartment is attached to a house but both units are completely separate and you will have 100% privacy inside the apartment. Guests from the house DO NOT have access to your apartment (and vice versa). Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: 1. This cozy space is a former garage that has been professionally transformed into a fully functional apartment! 2. The studio is attached to a house (since it used to be the garage of this house) which is also rented out short-term. If there are guests staying at the house you might hear them! 3. The staircase is pretty steep and might be an issue for somebody who is scared of heights. If you are not comfortable climbing those stairs we recommend to use the sofa bed downstairs. 4. During the summer and on very hot days we recommend you to sleep downstairs as it’s much cooler than upstairs. Keep the skylight closed during the day to keep the hot air out. Possibly even close the electric shade during the day to keep the inside as cool as possible. 5. Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited.
