Dream barn in the heart of nature!

What better way to enjoy the Pyrenees than a mountain barn? We are waiting for you in this peaceful retreat nestled in the heart of nature. It will give you a feeling of total isolation (0 facing, no neighborhood), while you will be only 10 minutes from Lourdes and the main axis serving all the essentials of the valley (Gavarnie, Cauterets, Hautacam, Val d'Azun, Tourmalet…) Surprise: you will also have very nice hikes starting from… the barn ;-) The space You'll have everything you need to feel right at home. We leave plenty of cooking utensils and spices for you to concoct delicious dishes at the barn and savor them in front of the panoramic view from the terrace. Equipped kitchen: 4-burner gas stove, oven, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher. The bathroom is simple but sufficient with shower and toilet. Large open living room with dining table and large sofa. For sleeping, it's upstairs on a large mezzanine open to the living room. We provide sheets and towels to make your life easier (it's vacation after all!!) More than one hectare of greenery and forest surrounds the barn. Outside you will find a hammock, sofa, seating and a large table to enjoy the garden and view! With a little luck you will find herbs (parsley, chives, coriander, rosemary…) in the vegetable garden but also raspberries and blueberries. We have a lot of gourmet spots to recommend but also a lot of information for your outings and hikes. Don't hesitate if needed! The barn is located: 10 min from Lourdes 20 min from Argelès-Gazost 40 min from Cauterets 1 hr from Gavarnie 40 min from Val d'Azun 1 hr from Col du Tourmalet 35 min from Bagnères de Bigorre For bike lovers, this is paradise Pic du Jer and its mountain bike track of the world championships 10 minutes away and the famous Pyrenean passes of the Tour de France (Tourmalet, Col d'Aspin, Col du Soulor, Marie Blanque…) Other information: - No TV, total disconnection guaranteed ;-) - Heating only with a wood-burning stove, it is normally not necessary from June to October… (except in the event of unpredictable weather in the off-season) Small specificity, this property is our main home. We rent it only in the summer to share this little slice of heaven and finance the improvement of the barn and our future projects 🙂 2025 Improvements (thank you for your feedback and suggestions): - Fiber connection (yes, yes, there is now fiber.
