Peaceful Mountain Cabin

Relax with family at this Airbnb with +300mbps fiber optic internet! Three comfortable beds including two king beds! Bunk beds and pull out couch added. The cabin adjoins 1000s of acres of state forest & is minutes from amazing hiking trails. The cabin is 10 min from RB Winter State Park which has a beautiful lake, beach, snack bar, & campground. 1.5 miles from the cabin you will find a high mt. lookout w/ perfect sunsets! The surrounding forest is very peaceful and quiet. 8 mi to Mifflinburg The space Downstairs master bedroom has a king bed with a full master bath adjoining it. There is an owners closet so we ask that you do not go into that closet. Half bath downstairs as well. Laundry available for use. Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Large kitchen table. Wood stove with plenty of wood for your personal use while staying at the Airbnb. Upstairs is another king bed along with a bunk bed. There’s another bedroom which also has a king size bed. In the upstairs, there is a pull out bed for additional guests. There’s a full bathroom upstairs as well. Shower only. Fully stocked with towels, wash clothes and shampoo. Please do not go into the basement as this is the owners space and is off limits to renters. Thanks for your understanding. Outdoors, there is a fire pit for you to use as well as a grill. We simply as that you clean up any food and garbage outside ASAP as animals (bear, deer, fox, squirrels, raccoons, opossums) can be quite eager to explore leftover food and/or garbage that is left out. Please note, you’ll need to go up a few steps in order to get onto the porch to access the Airbnb. 🚨 Now offering Fiber Optic Internet with over 300mbps!!! Other things to note Keturah & Dave also operate the land adjoining cabin very close by at 2315 Jones Mountain which sleeps 15 and has a volleyball court! Feel free to book them together for large groups! The two cabins are a very short walk apart and make a great combo! Please note during winter months, there is 0.2 miles of road that is NOT winter maintained at all. SOMETIMES, some of the mountain (2 miles) is plowed. However, AWD/4WD is REQUIRED during winter months. We simply ask that you clean up any food and garbage outside ASAP as animals (bear, deer, squirrels, raccoons, opossums) can be quite eager to explore leftover food and/or garbage that is left out. Be mindful of your surroundings when exploring the outdoors. Penn State Football (Beaver Stadium) is an easy 50 mile drive to the west. Perfect place to stay for PSU events! Centrally located to Bucknell University (13 miles), Susquehanna University (24 miles), Penn State University (50 miles), and Penn College (35 miles) Please reach out if you plan to bring more than one pet as additional fees will apply. First pet charge is $100 and each additional pet charge is $75/pet. We strive provide quality linens, towels and wash clothes for you during your stay.
