The space Here’s what you’ll enjoy during your stay: • A quiet, private suite with walkout entry • A comfy double bed, cozy linens, and extra blankets • Private 3-piece bathroom with spacious walk-in shower • High-speed Wi-Fi and a laptop-friendly desk • Smart TV with Netflix, Prime, Crave, and Disney+ • Microwave, kettle, coffee maker & bar fridge • Free access to washer and dryer • Shared backyard with seating for morning coffee The private lower-level space features a comfortable open-concept layout with a double bed, 55" Smart TV, electric fireplace, and dedicated desk for work or study. You'll also have a private 3-piece washroom with a walk-in shower, soft towels, and bath essentials. While there’s no full kitchen, you’ll have a microwave, hot plate, bar fridge, kettle, and coffee maker—perfect for prepping simple meals or enjoying a cozy night in. Free laundry is available during your stay. Note: The ceiling near the bathroom sink is lower due to ducting. If you're over 6' tall, you may need to duck slightly. OUTDOOR AREA Enjoy the quiet of the shared backyard—ideal for your morning coffee or a little fresh air. The yard is shared with the upstairs owners, but you're welcome to use the space when they’re home. Guest access You'll have private access through the back entrance of the house, with your own separate entry to the basement unit. Please be mindful of neighbours and noise in shared outdoor areas. There is no parking on site, but temporary street parking is available with a permit. During your stay We live upstairs and are happy to help if needed—just send us a message through the app. We do our best to make your stay easy, comfortable, and private. Other things to note We like to keep things clear and upfront so you can feel 100% confident about what to expect. Here are a few helpful things to know before your stay: Upstairs Family Home: We live upstairs with our two kids and two cats. We’re friendly and respectful of your space—but as it’s an older home, you may occasionally hear light footsteps or voices from above. No On-Site Parking: There is no parking provided. If you're bringing a vehicle, please visit the City of Toronto website and purchase a temporary overnight street parking permit in advance. You’ll need to print and display it on your dashboard. We can help print it if needed—just email us the file! Guest Verification: To protect our home and stay aligned with short-term rental regulations, we use an independent verification process for all guests. Please note: Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your reservation. If you are not booking with Airbnb you will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver.  Cleaning & Safety: Your health and comfort matter to us.
