Built in 1710 and lovingly restored, the Mill House is one of two fully independent units within the watermill. It has its own private entrance and looks out over the river, manicured lawns, flower beds, and the orangerie. Inside The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen - everything you need for cooking and baking - alongside a dining table for six and a comfortable sofa to sink into. Head upstairs and the living room opens up beneath a vaulted ceiling with original wooden beams from 1710. A custom sofa, built by a carpenter neighbour, is made for long afternoons with a book or an evening listening to the river. Browse the vinyl collection, drop the needle on the record player, and let the night slow down. There's also a queen size bed tucked into the alcove. The main bedroom has a double bed. Above it, an open attic hideaway with two single beds and views over the garden and river - the kind of room that feels like a secret. The Garden Fenced and quiet, the garden runs along the riverbank and feels like its own world - serene and tucked away, yet right in the heart of town. The Location Sæby is a 500-year-old coastal town with real charm - boutiques, good restaurants, and an unhurried pace of life. The beach is a few minutes' walk along the river trail. The forest is a short drive away. In summer, take a paddle board out on the river or rent bikes from the local shop and explore the coastline at your own speed.
