Eagle’s Rest - Rapid Bay

Perched above the coastal township of Rapid Bay, Eagle's Rest is the perfect location to explore the many delights of the Southern Fleurieu Peninsular. Surrounded by rolling hills with views over Rapid Bay and No Where Else Valley this private home is set on 8 gum studded acres and the only neighbours you have to share it with are the kangaroos who come visit. Wake to the chorus of birds, wander around the working vege garden, you can help your self to the seasonal herbs to add to your meal. The space A large country Kitchen awaits with gas stove and large electric oven is available for your cooking requirements. Spacious living area to relax and wind down plus generous size bedrooms. In summer you can venture ouit to the nearby world famous beaches, only a short drive away, and in winter you can watch the weather roll in while warming yourself by the wood fire. Ample parking with plenty of room for the boat as well. Go fishing at Rapid Bay, hiking through Deep Creek or just soaking up the amazing Ocean views on the deck with a glass of wine, all this is on your doorstep. Guest access You have access to all the house and surrounding property. There will be a shed which will be locked. To access the house it has stairs, unfortunatley no ramp. Other things to note *RAIN WATER: The house is not on mains so has rainwater tanks. Please be mindful not to take long showers or leave taps running. * FIRE PLACE: The house has a fire place however will need to supply your own wood. You can purchase fire wood and kindling packs at Mitre 10 in Normanville or the Delamere general store. * PET FRIENDLY: Eagles Rest is pet friendly. We do ask kindly not to let pets on the funrniture or beds. Thank you in advance. * KEYS: To avoid loosing keys, we request if you are going out for the day to leave the keys in the key box please. * BBQ: Please clean BBQ after use. * ESPRESSO MACHINE: Takes ground coffee. The owner kindly supplies a small jar however if you love your coffee you will need to supply your own. SNAKES IN SUMMER: Eagles Rest is in the country with plenty of grass and trees so please be mindful of snakes. If you do happen to come buy one just walk away. They will tend to slither off if you leave them alone. * STAIRS: Please know to access the house has stairs at side and back, no ramps.
