The apartment is in fair neat condition and it’s perfect for an individual or couple with the new king size bed. If you can’t handle a scratch on a bench top or discolouration in the bath tub then this place isnt for you. The space Positioned on the middle floor with an apartment below and above, this apartment has plenty of natural light and is conveniently located on Musgrave Road, which is a main arterial road so you can expect some road noise. The building is located at the top of Red Hill so is an easy walk to Suncorp Stadium or Kelvin Grove but uphill on the way home. Guest access The entire apartment plus your own off street car park (not covered so no height restriction) You have access to the common laundry located on the ground floor, it is free to use but washing detergent and pegs are not guaranteed- unfortunately guests take them all the time. Please note it is a cold wash only machine. Other things to note Our building is positioned on a main road, if you are an incredibly light sleeper this may not be the place for you. The bedroom window faces the opposite side of the building away from the road and is buffered by the bathroom (which has a door) but traffic can be heard in the morning as it builds up. The building is an old building and due to the nature of its construction ventilation is very difficult to install in the bathrooms. We request you open the bathroom window if not during your shower, immediately afterwards to allow steam to escape and minimise the chances of mould. We also request where possible that the apartment is left with blinds/curtains permanently drawn closed as natural light also assists in mould prevention. The refurbishment was done in 2024 and included the kitchen & bathroom cabinetry being painted. Unfortunately due to guest wear and tear some of the cabinets and benches have been scratched so it doesn’t look as fresh now as the photos. It is than easy fix and disappointing however we believe our rate allows for this as we achieve more per night for the same apartments that are newer in the building.
