We feature our comforting queen bedroom, plus another queen bed in the spacious loft overlooking the living room . This cabin has breathtaking views of Thunderhead Mountain and The Great Smoky Mountains. This cabin is not pet friendly. Our one-of-a-kind cabin has been lovingly curated to reflect the essence of the great State of TN. You can relax in our 4-person hot tub, overlooking stunning views, as well as enjoy time as a family on the spacious covered back deck, while grilling out, playing shuffleboard, cornhole, and even bocce ball. Grill some burgers on the outdoor propane grill or enjoy a fire in the real-wood fire pit. We provide propane for the grill and a starter bundle of firewood for the fireplace . Many local stores sell bundled firewood should you need more. We have a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, the living room and bedroom both possess smart TV'S. This cabin sleeps 4 people . it has one main bedroom with an additional private entrance and one loft bedroom which has a ladder shown in pictures. We have paved free parking on site. This destination is just minutes from downtown Townsend which includes restaurants, stores, bars, and even horseback riding stables just 5 minutes away. We are also 5 minutes away from the entrance of the GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK. The 11-mile loop at Cade's Cove offers some of the best opportunities for wildlife viewing in the park. Large numbers of white-tailed deer are frequently seen, and sightings of black bear, coyote, ground hog, turkey, raccoon, skunk, and other animals are also possible. Some visitors say they even saw BIG FOOT at cades cove. !!!! We are not so sure about that one . The kitchen is complete with full size fridge, microwave, two burner stove top , an ' INSTAPOT OMNI PLUS TOASTER OVEN" and kitchen basics such as dishes, glasses, and silverware ,pots and pans ,a small crock-pot and a single serve KEURIG We provide a generous amount of coffee, sugar, powdered creamer, and a variety of basic cooking utensils for your convenience. We suggest you bring your favorite coffee pods ,if you would like more , and plenty of water for hiking and outdoor activities . We have ice trays but we also suggest that you bring plenty of ice for your stay. The cabin is part of Thunderhead Ridge, a 25-acre getaway with beautiful views, and plenty of tranquility. You can cast in a line or float on a tube down the Little River, just a quick 2-minute drive from the cabin. Trout fishing is popular up-stream inside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Also, no need to worry about unwanted disturbances and traffic , Thunderhead Ridge is a secluded and private gated property. Book your stay with us today!!!
