The space The "Old Time A-frame" cottage will impress you, made 100% of wood, it will make your stay relaxing, dreamy. The furniture will remind you of your grandparents' old houses, while still noting the modern through a few details, feeling in every corner the natural smell of fir wood😁. You will have a 28 sqm living room delimited by a bathroom in which you will only have a camping sink and a chemical toilet, which will meet your needs during your stay, without a water connection inside but with a drinking water fountain. The shower and bathtub are outside, delimited by the cottage (shower gel included). The bathtub, on the other hand, has the possibility to heat the water in it by making a fire underneath (the hosts will give you guidance in this regard). PLEASE NOTE: The hot water shower is a common space for the 2 locations, it is used between March and October until the frost limit! If you are not used to traveling by your own car, find out that there is a train station and bus station in the area and we can take you by personal car to facilitate access to the location! During the frost period, in winter, the water for washing dishes and minimum hygiene is not useful as it is frozen, so everything is discussed in advance with the hosts, the dishes used if they cannot be washed we will take them and bring them back washed. Both this and the other locations we manage come to offer a completely different experience to the guest, made entirely of natural fir wood, thus giving the feeling that everything is idyllic, simple and tasteful. Also in the living room you will have a reinterpreted king size bed, dining table, cabinet with utilities for dining and cooking, refrigerator, moka pot coffee maker, chairs (armchairs). Without an indoor kitchen but with the possibility to cook on a gas stove (the support plate of the stove is always used), wood or charcoal grill and all outside the house has a terrace and terrace furniture. Amenities such as direct current will be used for the refrigerator and lighting and the phone and other gadgets will be charged with a solar panel equipped with Eco-flow and 220v socket. The cottage is not suitable for infants or children under 4 years of age. PLEASE NOTE: Our location is not a hotel service and because it is in the middle of nature it is possible to infiltrate an ant, fly, bee (we have insect spray). We also specify that you will not have the everyday amenities, relying more on the experience during the stay to the detriment of the common factors of other accommodations. PLEASE NOTE: The space is heated with a wood fireplace that comes prepared to give you an idea of how the wood is placed, you will have to manage the next fires during the stay, wood and lighters will be provided by the host. The kitchen is minimally equipped, refrigerator, outdoor sink, mini stove, tableware, cutlery. °Although we have a fridge, stove, electricity in the cottage, we prefer to stick to them and be environmentally friendly with low energy consumers, the voltage is low in the area and there may be power outages or often fluctuations but there is also a photovoltaic system with 220v socket. There is no air conditioning at the location! There is no Wi-Fi. During the cold period, the shower with instant on LPG and the sink in the common outdoor space are not usable by freezing. Inside, the following are not allowed: Parties Smoking PLEASE NOTE THAT the toilet and shower space are shared spaces of the 2 cottages and the interval of use is weighted. Coffee and sugar are included. - Mountain bikes are included in the accommodation price and with them you can travel the short distances between the tourist points but you can also try the marked route in the area. Mtb bikes are also for the most advanced in this sport but also for those who want easy rides. They are taken from the hosts' address or from the location and can be used unlimitedly throughout the stay with direct responsibility for damage or theft. Here's what you can do or visit if you're in the area: - Medieval church in Densuș (the oldest in the country) 4 km - The House of the Vulcans (Densuș) 4 km - Hațegan Village Museum (Peșteana) 2 km - Tăul fără fund swamp (insectivorous plant, Peșteana location) 1 km - paragliding (Clopotiva place) 4 km - Retezat Mountains 5 km - the ruins of the Colț fortress (Râu de Mori village) 8 km - the ruins of the Sarmisegetusa fortress (Sarmisegetusa commune) 5 km - Fundatura Ponorului 30 km, Șureanu Mountains Relax in the hammock or on the terrace admiring the majestic nature that surrounds us, in autumn you will be able to pick fruits such as apples and plums directly from our orchard where you are. You can always call the host for help in case of any need, we live in the same locality. Guest access The property on which "Old times A-frame" is located is private even if you will pass by a cottage do not worry about privacy, you will be at a considerable distance from the other guests. Other things to note The area has 4g signal so we don't have wifi internet! In the locality there is an ABC grocery store equipped with everything and 10 km away the larger supermarkets! Biodegradable products (peels, fruits, vegetable scraps) will be disposed of in the composter (excluding food).
