SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT (Sleeps up to 8) - Bedroom 1: Super King bed + cot - Bedroom 2: 4 single beds (trundle setup) - Bedroom 3: 1 queen bed (Please check “Where you’ll sleep” to confirm the setup for your group.) FARM EXPERIENCE Wake up to alpacas and sheep nearby and enjoy big-sky Canterbury countryside. If you'd like to meet/feed the alpacas & sheep, simply open the sliding door, they are just outside of your window. Guest access You’ll have exclusive use of the entire 3-bedroom guesthouse. ACCESS & PARKING - Self check-in. - Free on-site parking (please park in the designated guest area) OUTDOOR AREAS - You’re welcome to enjoy the garden and designated guest outdoor areas. - Alpacas and sheep are in fenced paddocks — feel free to watch&feed them from the fence line. FARM SAFETY For your safety and animal welfare: - Please do not enter paddocks, open gates, or feed animals unless arranged with us. - Farm work areas are not part of guest access. Other things to note FARM SETTING This is a rural lifestyle farm: you may hear farm sounds and see insects/wildlife, especially in summer, please keep the windows and curtains closed at night. CHILD SAFETY Children must be supervised around animals, fences, and outdoor areas. HEATING - Our diesel fireplace is currently under repair and out of service. - Alternative heating (3 air conditioners and extra heaters) is provided. SKI SEASON (MT HUTT) – USEFUL INFO - Mt Hutt is about 90 minutes from Christchurch and around 30 minutes from Methven (allow extra time in winter). - The access road may require snow chains — check conditions before heading up. - There is a winter shuttle service from Christchurch and Rolleston (check the latest timetable).
