This home occupies one half of a duplex, offering an ideal home base for your hiking, kayaking, and cycling adventures in and around Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Enter this two-story home on the ground floor, where the inviting living room features plush sofas, a flatscreen TV, and large windows with a view of the park. Toss the day's clothes in the private washer/dryer and head into the kitchen offering plentiful wood cabinetry to store your favorite snacks, every essential appliance (including a dishwasher), and an adjacent dining space. Just outside the sliding glass doors is the back deck, where you can get the gas grill going for dinner and listen to the ocean breezes rustling through the trees. The Village Green, a wide assortment of charming restaurants and shops, and the oceanfront Bar Harbor Shore Path can all be found downtown, just half a mile away. Acadia National Park and the Park Loop Road are also nearby, with a stop for the free park shuttle just a 12-minute walk from the house (allowing you to avoid the hassles of driving and parking at Acadia's most famous landmarks).
