This single family home is situated on Slaughter Beach overlooking the Delaware Bay. Wake up with your coffee and watch the sunrise, as the views here are incredible. The public marina is just a 5 minute drive from the house. Nature lovers can explore the wildlife areas and DuPont Nature Center. This single family private home provides 3 bedrooms (1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 1 Full bed and pull out trundle twin bed) and 2 full bathrooms. Spacious living room with smart tv. Washer and Dryer are available for use. All areas are located on the main level. There is plenty of room outside the house to park your boat, jet ski's, trailer. Bed linens and towels are included for each stay. Kitchen is equipped with utensils, pots/pans, some spices, drip coffee maker, toaster and more. On the deck is a propane grill available for use. Outdoors there is a private groomed path to walk out to the Delaware bay. (Note: Condition of the beach right outside of the house, may or may not be clear and sandy due to weather conditions and being at the shallow end of the bay.) There are many public beach access areas along Bay avenue that are just a few minutes drive from the house and are beachy walkable and swimmable areas. The fire house and recreational area on Slaughter Beach is just a 5 minute drive from the house and hosts a swimmable beach, pavilion, restrooms, playground, tennis and basketball courts. All of which are open to the public. Parking and entry is free! Slaughter Beach is surrounded by nature preserves, there are many spots in the area to bird watch and take in all the surrounding nature. The free public marina is just a 5 minute drive from the house. Take your boat, jet skis, or kayaks. Four boat launches available. Don't forget to stop by and check out the DuPont Nature Center just down the road from the marina! The town of Milford is about a 15 minute drive where you can find many restaurants, grocery stores, ice cream shops, etc. DE Turf Sports Complex is 12 miles, 17 minute drive. Lewes and Rehoboth beaches are 15-20miles south, 30-40minute drive. Visit Cape Henlopen State Park Historic area where you can walk or bike many trails, have a picnic, or enjoy the beach. Enjoy the restaurants, shopping and boardwalk in downtown Rehoboth. Guests will have access to the entire house except the garage. All living area is on the main floor upstairs. The garage is downstairs which is not accessible to guests. The only entry to the living area upstairs is via the outdoor stairs. Private access to the bay/beach.
