This sleepy bayside neighborhood is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. If you walk outside after dark the only sound you will hear is the sound of the ocean or potentially the bugle of a nearby elk. Our home is 1 block from Nehalem Bay and an easy 5 minutes drive to all that Manzanita has to offer. Including beautiful beaches, Nehalem Bay State Park, miles of hiking, delicious dining. Also Short sands is just 7 minutes away. The space The main floor of our home is open and airy. This modern home has been recently renovated less than 3 years ago. There are brand new appliances in the stylish open kitchen. Down the hall is our bathroom with a custom tiled shower. There is a laundry area with a full sized washer and dryer, two bedrooms with queen size beds. Upstairs is my favorite part of our home. To the left, there is a loft with large windows facing the east that are perfect for stargazing. This would also be a great room to use as a game room or work space. To the right, there is a master bedroom with a luxury king sized bed and a balcony that has peekaboo views of the bay. If you leave the windows open at night, you may be able to fall asleep to the relaxing sounds of the ocean. In the garage you will find beach equipment and cruiser style antique bicycles that are yours to play with! Enjoy a bike ride around our quiet neighborhood and if your timing is right, you might even run into a herd of elk near the Bay. *Please keep an eye out with young children on the stairs and in the loft area. The bars are spaced a bit far apart from each other and I make sure to watch our infant closely when she is upstairs. Other things to note A $50 cleaning fee will be added per pet. Maximum 2 pets.
