Bottom Level – Poolside Fun: The highlight of Modern Splash is undoubtedly the private indoor pool on the bottom level! This in-ground custom pool, with its small waterfall, set to 84 degrees year-round, ensuring fun for the kids no matter the season. A half bath and laundry room are conveniently located on this level. While the kids splash around, parents can relax in the seating area by the pool or step out onto the deck to unwind in the 6-person hot tub, all while taking in the stunning mountain views. There is a locked cleaners closet and mechanical room on the bottom level. Guests also have access to the Shagbark Community's amenities for no additional fee. This include a seasonal outdoor pool that is usually open Memorial Day to Labor Day. The community has a combined basketball, tennis and pickle ball court across from the outdoor pool. The community also has a small playground, putting green and pavilion area with outdoor games. Other things to note For fire safety and insurance reasons, this home allows a maximum of 8 total occupants, including infants and children. *The roads up to the cabin are steep mountain roads. You don’t get these views unless you go to the top of the mountain! The good news is all the roads up to the cabin are paved and can be accessed with any vehicle type. And normally once someone drives the roads once or twice it’s not a big deal. We send directions for 2 routes, one longer and less steep! **The pool is “heated” but the temperature is kept at 84 degrees year around. This is important for the moisture levels in the basement. For some adults 84 degrees will feel cold but for kids they will love it! The pool is not heated up like a hot tub. For temps over 100 enjoy the hot tub on the deck! The pool is serviced between every stay and has a coded door lock, door alarm and pool alarm for extra peace of mind! ***There was a wildfire that affected some of the neighborhood in March of 2022. Therefore, there are some houses that are being re-built throughout the neighborhood including our street. We provide sound machines in the sleeping areas to ensure those restful mornings.
