This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. At the end of a cul-de-sac, in a green setting, you can enjoy the Charolaise countryside while being close to the amenities of the historic center of Charlieu, classified as one of the "most beautiful detours in France" and a village of character. Comfortable house of 115 m² that can accommodate 6/7 people open to courtyard and large garden with a swimming pool (10x4), a bucolic and quiet setting. The space Our family home, dating from the 16th century, in yellow stone with walls brushed with lime with natural pigments, has been completely restored identically, respecting the original materials. It is south facing, overlooking a courtyard and beyond a large enclosed garden where there is a heated swimming pool (depending on the season and weather conditions) secured (dimensions 10X4) with beautiful wooden beach with deckchairs, sunbathing, sofa with a bird's eye view of the surrounding meadows and the Abbey of Charlieu with its large yellow stone tower. The house is composed of - 3 bedrooms located at both ends of the house - two bedrooms on one side, the bedroom with adjoining bathroom/toilet on the other, pool side. - a large room of about 40 m2 with a large comfortable living room around the fireplace, and a dining area with a large table. - a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area overlooking the courtyard with, outside, garden furniture and tables to take your meals throughout the day, from the sunny days, in the shade of the large linden and plane tree. - a hallway with wardrobe, giving access to independent toilets and a shower room with sink and window overlooking the back of the house. Located about 100 km from Lyon, 40 km from Charolles and Beaujeu (Beaujolais), 20 km from Roanne, the house is a 15-minute walk from the center of Charlieu, close to all shops, with farmers' markets twice a week. Many activities and leisure activities nearby: in Charlieu departure of the green route (Bicycles) from Roanne to Digoin, tennis, cinema, cultural visits to the Abbey of Charlieu, the cloister of St Nizier, the Hospital and Silk Museum. On the banks of the Loire, you can fish, take beautiful walks on foot or by canoe, barge, or bike from the port of Briennon, and for lovers of beautiful stones you can discover the circuit of Romanesque churches.
