Situated on a spacious corner a few blocks from downtown, this beautiful home preserves its historic charm while surprising you with tucked away modern amenities that don’t overly advertise themselves. The high ceilings and large windows flood the downstairs space with natural light and provide a beautiful view of the surrounding neighborhood. The host intends this space as an ideal retreat for writers, artists, musicians, or other creative people looking for a fresh and organic environment. The space Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each configured to sleep a couple. A third bedroom has been repurposed for remote work with a motorized standing desk. However, at your request, this third room can be easily outfitted with a queen sized trifold memory foam mattress on a portable bed frame (also capable of sleeping a couple). Downstairs, the office (piano room) can be closed off with a pocket door and converted into a fourth bedroom with a twin xl sized trifold memory foam mattress on a portable bed frame. There is also enough room in the second upstairs bedroom for this twin xl bed if that configuration is more suitable for your group. The portability of these additional beds also enables you to store them away during the day if you prefer. In total, this home comfortably hosts 7 sleeping guests (assuming three couples) or up to 4 sleeping guests with only one person per bed. But do keep in mind there is only one bathroom :) Guest access You will have full and exclusive access to the house, including the downstairs (kitchen, living room, dining room, office), upstairs (three bedrooms with one converted into dedicated remote workspace), and basement (laundry). Two bays in a three-car detached garage are also available upon request. Please note that the garage is designated a shared space, and may need to be accessed on occasion by the homeowner during your stay. Other things to note The additional bed for the third upstairs bedroom and the downstairs room need to be specifically requested in advance. They are not set up by default.
