Lilac Cottage is a beautiful modern stone cottage with a period feel in the centre of Pytchley village. Its oak frame is exposed with vaulted ceilings and beams in the interior, creating a warm and cosy feel, whilst the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Fabulous entertaining kitchen to enjoy with friends and family Enjoy the surrounding countryside with fantastic walks. Nearest rail station is Kettering (5 mins drive) direct to London in an hour. The space A fabulous entertaining home to celebrate a special occasion or just relax and enjoy the lovely village and wonderful countryside. Our kitchen is open plan with dining area and double doors out into the garden. It’s well equipped for you to enjoy your evenings cooking with a double oven, 6 ring gas hob and a Ninja double drawer air fryer. While the dish washer handles the dishes you can relax in the lounge in front of the SMART TV which has Sky. Also DVD player with plenty of DVD’s to choose from. There is an Additional large TV in the Master Bedroom with Sky etc. Sonos music system also available. Utility room connected to the kitchen with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave with a stable door into the garden. Front door leads straight into a large hall and then into the lounge. Double doors leading out to the patio and garden from the lounge. There is also a study and downstairs WC off the hall. The bedrooms are spacious and bright. Bedroom 1 has a lovely vaulted ceiling with a king size bed, TV and en suite. Bedroom 2 also has a lovely vaulted ceiling and double bed and is bright and cheerful. Bedroom 3 has a double along with a single bed. There is an option of an 8th guest with a truckle available suitable for a child if requested, see a picture at the end of the photo gallery. Beautiful family bathroom on the landing with large modern bath and shower. Please see location and neighbourhood for all the details of the area and things to do. Guest access Self check-in usually 3PM * checkout 10AM* *If these times are inconvenient for you please get in touch and we will do our very best to accommodate you. These times have been set for when another guest is arriving on the same date as another is leaving, however if no other guests then we could be flexible. Access to parking is via a shared driveway to the left of the house, parking for a medium sized car in front of the garage and 1 designated space at the rear of the property. Additional parking on the street. 2 rear gates into the garden. Totally enclosed and private. Steps up to the front door. We have 4 bedrooms with 3 available as we are using 1 for storage. 3 double bedrooms: 1 king size bed with an en suite and 2 double beds with an additional single in bedroom 3. We also have a single truckle bed available if required but please request so not locked away. Other things to note The open fireplace is boarded up. Please DO NOT USE. Under safety and concerns there is a note regarding heights without rails - please note that the garden is on different levels, the grassed area has a retaining stone wall (just over a meter) in one area. This can be seen in the garden photos. We have a greenhouse and a few steps in the garden. If you require an additional house clean during your stay we would need to know in advance - NB there would be an additional cost for this service Please don’t leave dogs unattended while you are out (The Overstone Arms is a dog friendly pub). Please also do not allow your dog upstairs and on the beds. We have dog bowls and spare lead’s. We are more than happy for you to snuggle with your pooch on the sofa but please ensure that he/she is clean and that you use the throws. Also there is a water hose by the back door if your dog needs washing down and towels to dry off in the cupboard next to the stable door.
