Guesthouse in Langley Upper Green

Jacob’s Annexe was renovated in 2022 and is a beautiful, peaceful space. The single storey barn enjoys a tranquil position in the small village of Langley Upper Green. Sleeps 2 adult guests (double bed) plus 1 child (sofabed) or the option of a travel cot. We are located close to: • Market town of Saffron Walden (8 miles) • Bustling Bishops Stortford (11 miles) • Air show famous Duxford (9 miles) • London Stansted Airport (14 miles) • Historic Cambridge (14 miles) The space Our beautiful annexe is a detached converted barn with no adjoining neighbours or properties. We live in our family home opposite and are happy to deal with any questions or requests. The annexe is in an incredibly quiet and peaceful location and area. It’s a great base for country walks with well-maintained footpaths within minutes from the property. The property is within 9 miles of both the historic market town of Saffron Walden and IWM Duxford, the home of the famous Duxford Airshow. Cambridge and Stanstead Airport are easily reached within a 30 min drive. There is off-road parking for up to 2 cars directly outside the annexe. There is also a charging point for electric vehicles. The Annexe sleeps up to 2 adults and 1 child plus a travel cot. The sleeping arrangements are made up of 1 x double bedroom with en-suite shower room and, in the main living area, is a sofabed that pulls out to become an additional small double bed. On request, there is a travelcot. Living Room: John Lewis sofabed, desk with computer screen, TV with Amazon Fire Stick. Small dining table & 2 chairs. Kitchenette including: combination oven (microwave, oven, grill), induction hob (one ring), fridge wine fridge, toaster, coffee machine, kettle. Bedroom: Double bed Clothes rail Digital radio Bedside lamps Travel cot (on request) Campbed (on request) En-suite: Electric shower, WC, basin Outside: Ample offroad parking. The annexe has its own small own outdoor space with table & chairs. EV charging point for an additional charge. Guest access The entire annexe is available to guests. There is off-road parking. Other things to note *N.B - The property sleeps more than 2 on request only. I am sorry we are unable to take dogs.
