The space Perched on a picturesque working sheep farm, the off-grid house enjoys uninterrupted views north towards the Redesdale and Heathcote regions. Designed to make the most of the spectacular views, every room offers a beautiful outlook across the countryside. Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee on the deck, sharing a meal around the dining table, or sitting by the fire with a good book, you'll find plenty of opportunities to savour the peaceful surroundings. Guests can enjoy a large entertaining deck, outdoor dining area, fire pit, tennis court and basketball hoop, all set against a breathtaking rural backdrop. The home is modern, spacious and fully off-grid, offering all the comforts you need for a relaxing stay. The wood heater is the home's primary source of heating and creates a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. A split-system heating and cooling unit is also available for short bursts of additional comfort. Families will appreciate the selection of board games, jigsaw puzzles, books and children's toys provided for guests to enjoy. The expansive outdoor entertaining area is designed for making the most of the spectacular setting, featuring a large deck, outdoor dining table, comfortable seating, stargazing lounges and a fire pit. Whether you're enjoying breakfast with the sunrise, a leisurely afternoon lunch, or dinner under a sky full of stars, it's the perfect place to unwind and take in the views. Guests are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the wide-open spaces, gardens and natural surroundings. During your stay, be sure to say hello to Gerald, our friendly sheep who always enjoys meeting guests. You can also visit the chicken coop, where you're welcome to collect fresh eggs for breakfast when the hens have been busy. As this is an active farm, we ask that all gates are left as found and that children are closely supervised around the unfenced dams and electric fences located throughout the property. Guest access The whole house, gardens and tennis court are for guests exclusive use. The house is the only residence on the property and the house is well setback from the road providing complete privacy. For your enjoyment, we provide: • Tennis racquets and tennis balls • Basketball • Soccer ball Please note: • No smoking • No pets permitted Other things to note This property operates entirely off-grid using solar power, battery storage and rainwater tanks. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of their electricity and water usage during their stay. Heating The wood heater is the primary source of heating and everything you need is provided, including firewood, firelighters and newspaper. During colder winter days, we recommend lighting the fire early and keeping it burning throughout the day and evening for maximum comfort. A split-system heater/air conditioner is available to quickly warm or cool the house when needed. As the property relies on solar power and battery storage, we ask guests to: • Use the split system sparingly • Avoid using the high fan setting • Do not run the system overnight Electric vehicles Unfortunately, our solar system is not designed to support electric vehicle charging. Fast charging stations are available in nearby Kyneton.
