Our cottage will welcome you with your family or friends for a quiet stay in the countryside. Ideally located in South Vendée, it will allow you to discover the rich historical heritage of the region. You can recharge your batteries in the heart of the Green Venice of the Mervent forest massif and its lake, enjoy the beaches of Vendée, and discover La Rochelle. You will be ideally located 1 hour and 10 minutes from Puy du Fou or Futuroscope. The Chassenon water sports area is only 4 km from the cottage. The space Single-storey house with fully enclosed grounds close to all shops: (5 min from the village of Rive d'Autise for everyday shopping and 8 min from Fontenay le Comte for all shops). The cottage is bright, simple but comfortable. It has been fully renovated by us. The large living room allows the whole family a friendly stay. The house has 4 bedrooms for 2 people each. All the equipment for 2 babies is at your disposal. The house has 2 shower rooms, the largest with a toilet and a 2nd independent toilet. You will find the beds made on arrival. The enclosed exterior with its 2 terraces is arranged to spend the long summer evenings there. You will have the company of our chickens and the 2 goats of the neighbor behind the fence. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and its 500 m2 outdoor area. Vehicles can park on either side of the house. We can leave you a space in our garage to store your bikes. Other things to note The house is located in a small village of about a hundred people. You can hear the birds a lot, but also Maurice, the village donkey. The neighbor's 2 goats and our chickens will be your neighbors for your stay. You'll probably see as many tractors as cars passing by on the road. We have 1 dog who lives freely on our property (without having access to your accommodation). Your four-legged friends are welcome. You just have to be careful not to leave them alone in the house, and for hygiene reasons, they are not allowed in the night part. A security deposit of €150 per animal is required upon arrival and will be returned after an inspection of the premises. Electricity is included on a basis of 15 kW/day, which corresponds to the normal use of the accommodation. The additional amount will be paid based on the rate in force at the end of the stay after the meter reading. Heating is included on the basis of a flat rate of 20 KW/day. The additional charge will be paid based on the rate in effect at the end of the stay after the meter has been read. In the kitchen, you will find a filter coffee maker and a coffee machine with Tassimo pods. Several charging stations for electric cars are available in Fontenay-le-Comte, 7 km away (charging car batteries is not allowed at the cottage for safety reasons). Registration Details 2025MT01
