Lakefront cottage

This lakefront cottage is on the first basin of Lake James, one of Indiana's most beautiful sports lakes. Most of our renters are repeat and book directly. We also have 5 star rating on Vrbo. The naturally sandy lake bottom is great for swimming, so bring all your water toys and floats. A private dock with boat tie-ups is included. (owner also has boats on the dock, and both adjacent cottages) The summer weeks are 7 day rentals with check in at 2pm on Sat and check out at 10am the following Sat. The space This cottage is fully furnished with three bedrooms and one and a half baths. The three small bedrooms [two with full-sized beds, one with a set of twin beds] and half bath are located upstairs. The living room downstairs has a full-sized pull-out couch. The sunroom has two day beds with windows all around for enjoying Lake James sunsets. The cottage sleeps 8 adults comfortably. The living room has high-speed internet and TV / DVD. There are remote control air conditioning, one each floor of the cottage. The kitchen is well-equipped with coffee maker, blender, and microwave and adjoining table area. The cottage also includes an outdoor gas grill for barbecuing, a large ground level patio with lakeside yard for games. We also have a 21' pontoon with 40hp 2 stroke for rent at $250/day, $1k/wk. Guest access The Blue cottage to the north is also a rental managed by Jeff. The Grey Cottage to the south is my Aunt's and is the one my grandfather built in 1949 and where all us kids grew up! Jeff and Jan live in the "lodge" on the hill behind the cottages. Family owns most of the land behind the cottages so feel free to take a walk in the woods! The rental pontoon is on the Blue cottage dock. Other boats of ours are scattered across all three docks. We unusually use the Grey cottage dock with our pontoon and ski boat. Other things to note Linens (bath/hand towels) and bedding included, bring your own beach towels.
