Cosy cabin surrounded by nature

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled in the fields above the medieval village of St Keverne, this quirky, fully self-contained cabin offers both solitude and easy access to local amenities. The uninterrupted views from every window give you a real sense of being at one with nature Wake up to the sound of birdsong and enjoy breakfast watching the wildlife from the privacy of your own decked area before heading out to one of the many local beaches. The space 'Le Shack' is a self-contained cabin with a mezzanine small double bed easily accessed via a wooden ladder. On two walls there is an underwater mural painted by a local artist, so that, even though you are surrounded by fields and trees, you are reminded that the sea is never too far away. There is an en-suite wetroom including an electric shower, WC and cloakroom hand basin. In the main room, there is a kitchen pod with microwave, sink, fridge and double hotplate as well as a small dining table. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. Outside, there is a decked area with charcoal BBQ, dining furniture and chiminea so that you can sit on balmy summer evenings and enjoy the tranquillity of your surroundings. On a clear night, stargazing is a real delight as, due to a lack of light pollution, many constellations, and even the Milky Way are visible. If you are lucky, you may hear or even see nocturnal creatures including Barn or Tawny owls! Guest access Guests have access to the upper kitchen garden where there is a rotary washing line. To the rear of 'Le Shack' there are recycling facilities, which we would encourage everyone to use. Also, to the rear there is a woodstore where guests are welcome to help themselves to wood for the chiminea situated on the patio. Please ensure all fires are extinguished at the end of the night. Other things to note There is a friendly Labrador on site called Sid. He will be only too happy to meet you if you so wish!
