"All Aboard, Williamsburg's Wild West Train Depot". Located 2-3 minutes from the river & on the CSX Rail line you will enjoy an experience like no other! Upon arrival tour our estate, check out the Cowboy & Indian Décor. Enjoy the POOL and sun during the day and grill, fire pit & star filled sky in the evening. Enjoy Bush Gardens, Water Country USA & Colonial Williamsburg! No better place to stay to enjoy the amazing amenities of the estate and all of the experiences Williamsburg has to offer! The beauty of our estate will take your breath away. You will feel like millionaires for the weekend. As you enter the driveway you will see the 10 ft. tall brass fountain, surrounded by beautiful landscaping, in the center of the circular driveway. The huge front porch is surrounded by elevated pavers, beautiful landscaping, and curving sidewalks. The porch has four rocking chairs, a bench and porch swing to sit in and admire the beauty of the fountain, surrounding willows, and meadow. As you ascend the porches 5 steps you will go in the front door and enter the open concept living area of the estate. Directly in front of you is the living room and the leather electric sectional couch. Along the back of the couch is a table with a western saddle and guest book. Off to your right is the gas fireplace adorned with a replica old fashioned muzzleloader. To your left is a built-in wall unit with a 65-inch smart TV and shelfs filled with Native American decor. Directly to your right is the Kitchen. The wall above the kitchen in the vaulted area of the home has some statement piece decorations including Buffalo and Cattle skulls, as well as a Native American dream catcher. The fully stocked kitchen has numerous cabinets, and all of the appliances needed to cook meals for your entire "TRIBE". Once in the kitchen off to your left is a bar area with four bar stools and a counter for you to converse with family while preparing meals. Past that area is a dinette table with four chairs, the perfect place to sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning while admire the western decor in the China cabinet or looking over the pool, horse barn, and pastures. The bedrooms all have direct access to full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, beautiful black accent wall, and a huge walk-in closet. The expansive master bath has a large two-person shower, double vanity and private toilet. The 2nd bedroom is in the front of the house on the 1st level and has a queen bed. It has private access to the full bath that is shared with the common area of the house. This bath is a tub shower combination. Finally, as you walk toward the garage you will pass a hallway which supplies access to the laundry room, with a full-size washer and dryer. The hallway also contains an amazing coffee bar which contains enough coffee and condiments for your first morning. Just past the coffee bar is the lounge area which contains a poker / game table and TV. Pass the poker table and go up the stairs to your left and you will enter the expansive 2nd level Master bedroom. This room contains a King size bed, full bath, and large walk-in closet. This room also has a mini split wall unit that allows you to regulate this rooms temperature independent of the rest of the home. Finally, as you descend the step off to your left is the doorway to the garage which has been turned into a large kids play area. As you exit one of the many rear large double doors you will find yourself on the expansive back porch. This porch has beautiful outdoor seating that allows you to overlook amazing views which include the large in ground pool, horse barn, and pastures. Our Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, drinking glasses, plates, coffee cups, spices and enough coffee and condiments for your 1st morning. Our Bathrooms are stocked with towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and a 1st aid kit. Our bedrooms have mattress covers, sheets, blankets, white noise machines, eye coverings, and ear plugs. The laundry room has full size washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board. Bring your boat and fishing gear as there are three marinas within a mile of our property and we have plenty of room for boat trailer parking. (Please let us know if you plan to bring a boat so we can include info on where we would like it parked) Fish from shore at Diascund Reservoir Park just 3 miles away. We are not big fishermen but if you ask some of the locals, they may tell you of their honey holes. Our TVs are smart TVs we supply ROKU, you are more than welcome to utilize any of your own streaming platforms on our TVs. We have a small fire pit; at this time, we ask you to bring your own camp chairs and firewood for around the fire pit. Our pool is in service between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Busch Gardens Christmas Town Christmas Town at Busch Gardens is a must-see for anyone looking to get into the holiday spirit! This theme park features all of the classic Christmas attractions, like Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, an ice skating show, and a light display that will take your breath away. In addition, there are plenty of festive food options available throughout the park. Busch Gardens has added a new attraction to their lineup: the Christmas Town Express train. Board this steam locomotive for a relaxing ride through the park as you take in all of the holiday sights and sounds. And don’t worry – jolly old St. Nick himself will be on board to make sure everyone has a good time! 2. Williamsburg Premium Outlets If you’re looking for a great place to shop during the Christmas season, Williamsburg Premium Outlets is definitely worth checking out! This shopping destination has 130+ stores, including Kate Spade and Coach. In addition to all of the great shopping options, Williamsburg Premium Outlets also offers two different attractions: Busch Gardens and Liberty Ice Pavilion. So if you need a break from all of the holiday chaos, head over to Williamsburg Premium Outlets and enjoy some fun family time. 3.Experience a Colonial Williamsburg There’s no better way to experience Christmas than by visiting Colonial Williamsburg! The tree-lighting ceremony is a must-see, and the Governor’s Palace is decked out in all its colonial glory. Even if you can’t make it to Williamsburg during Christmastime, don’t worry – there are plenty of other events happening throughout the month. Duke of Gloucester Street is still beautifully decorated, so be sure to take a stroll down there if you’re in town. Happy holidays! 4. Christmas shops in Williamsburg If you’re looking for a Christmas-themed shopping experience, look no further than Colonial Williamsburg. The three shops mentioned below are filled with ornaments, decorations, and more to get your home ready for the holiday season. Along Duke of Gloucester Street, stop by the open trade shops to learn more about 18th Century American life. Be sure to ask a few questions at each shop so you can get the most out of your visit. Witnessing The Marvelous Grand Illumination Of Colonial Williamsburg If you’re anywhere near the Williamsburg, VA area during December, you’ll definitely want to witness the Grand Illumination. This special event is a holiday tradition that celebrates the beginning of Christmas festivities in the city. The fun starts in the evening, but be sure to get there early if you want a good spot to view the fireworks show! There are three great locations where you can see everything that’s going on: Merchant’s Square, Market Square, and Duke of Gloucester Street. And don’t worry–you won’t miss any of the action no matter where you are in Williamsburg; all of the streets will be lit up with beautiful displays! The Grand Illumination is always a marvel to behold. If you’re looking for something special to do during Christmastime, this event is definitely worth checking out! 7. Williamsburg’s Marvelous 18th Century Holiday Tradition The 18th century Christmas tradition in Williamsburg is lighting the cressets. This event takes place on Duke of Gloucester Street from mid-December to Christmas Eve. Cressets are large, metal baskets that hang from a frame and have a handle. They were used to carry lighted candles or torches. The flame was often used as a signal or warning. There are many events and performances happening throughout the holiday season, including walking tours that highlight Colonial Christmas decorations. There is also the Grand Illumination Celebration where visitors can see buildings and homes all dressed up for the holidays with thousands of lights! 8. Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Foundation The Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Foundation offer holiday programs for visitors. These programs include special interpretive tours, holiday films, and seasonal activities on both historic sites. The Jamestown Settlement is hosting Christmastide events to show off how Christmas was celebrated in the 17th and 18th century. 9. Holiday Dining at Colonial Williamsburg Colonial Williamsburg offers a variety of dining options for visitors during the holiday season. There are four taverns in the Historic Area which serve authentic 18th-century food, and The Tavern at Williamsburg is open year-round. There is also a Calendar of Events which will give visitors a list of all upcoming activities happening in the Historic Area during the Holiday season. Small wedding venue 2. Groups for fishing tournaments 2. Family reunions 3. Photo shoots Please do not bring Quads, ATVs, Golf carts or any other pieces of equipment to ride around on the property. We do not want to incur the damage or liability associated with these. We will be available during your stay via phone and Air B and B messaging. We have a local property manager with numerous local resources to assist if the need were to arise. We also would like all of our guest to understand that we have contracted help for both the pool and landscaping that may arrive during your stay for their Maintenace. We ask that you please let them do their work, if you turn them away you will be responsible for their return fee. All Aboard, is our five-acre horse farm, it is in a rural setting and very close to and between the Chickahominy river and CSX Rail lines. We are located just out of Williamsburg and not far from Richmond Virginia. We have river access from three different Marinas all within a mile of our home. The CSX train is east and across the road from our property and two properties to our west is the river. The homes in our neighbor are all built on about 5 acre lots. Deer and other wildlife are common in our pasture fields. To get to the local amenities, Williamsburgh, Richmond or Virginia Beach you will have to drive. Bush Gardens and Water country are about a 20–25-minute drive. Richmond is about a 40-minute drive. Within our neighborhood golf carts and walking are common forms of transportation. We are within about 1/2 mile walk of a marina with a seasonal restaurant. If you have a boat, bring it along, we have plenty of room for boat trailer parking. Boats are a common form of transportation for many of the locals. For now, until we renovate the barn you are more than welcome to bring your horse along for an additional fee. (Please check horse availability before booking). Please note our neighborhood is located along the CSX rail lines. This is an active rail line. The number of trains varies per day. The locals have grown use to the noise associated with the trains and we don't even notice them. However, you will hear trains and whistles as the tracks are across the road from our property. The train traffic slows down significantly at night. If you are a light sleeper and your goal is to sleep much of the day this may not be the place for you. With that said, if you are a moderate to heavy sleeper, we feel you will have no issues. We also supply numerous items to insure even the lightest of sleepers can get sleep. Every bedroom is equipped with a White noise machine, fan, and even ear plugs for the lightest of sleepers.
