"Molly" The Vintage Caravan.

A unique opportunity to enjoy a peaceful break in our beautifully renovated vintage caravan. Our 2 berth caravan called Molly, is permanently located on a quiet site in the small West Cumbrian village of Gilcrux, just 5 miles from the Solway coast, with its spectacular sunsets, and just a 30 minute drive from the busy market town of keswick, one of the most popular locations in the Lake District. Molly is truly a one off gem. Thoughtfully furnished to make your stay as memorable as possible. The space Molly is a 2 berth 1978 vintage caravan. Small but beautiful. Despite her quaint size Molly boasts a full sized double bed, mini fridge, convector heater, plug sockets and charging points. A small seating area, 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, modern led lighting, and under bed storage. A sink for washing up (cold water only). An outside seating area, BBQ, and a vintage style awning which can be put up prior to your arrival, or you can put the awning up yourself. There is also a storage box to keep your footwear dry if you have muddy boots from being out on the fells. The village of Gilcrux is quiet and picturesque, with hardly any through traffic. There is a pub called the Masons Arms, that does food. A fishery where you can do a spot of fly fishing, and several footpaths to explore. Facilities are shower, toilet sink, and washing machine and tumble dryer. there is no charge for the shower, but there is a charge for the washer/dryer. There is also a small shop and post office on the site. Other things to note Please note that Molly does not have a bathroom . Although If you have ever used caravan bathrooms before, you may think this is a good thing! You will be using the caravan parks on site facilities instead, that are only a few yards away.
