Pitaya offers a panoramic view of Lake Atitlán from its private balcony. It has a king-size bed and an additional single bed if required in advance and a kitchenette equipped with a stove, mini-fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven, utensils and dishwasher. Includes a bathtub and semi-open shower. Wake up to the morning light from your bed and watch birds as the lake lights up. A bright experience open to the landscape. The space The property is located at KM 170 between San Pablo La Laguna and San Marcos La Laguna, in a privileged natural setting facing Lake Atitlán. The design integrates natural materials and landscape-oriented architecture, promoting rest and connection with the environment. During your stay, you can enjoy common areas facing the lake and a quiet atmosphere, ideal for disconnecting and contemplating nature. You can also enjoy our bakery and garden café in Panina, about 5 minutes from La Puertecita de Atitlán. Or you can request the menu with your host to have breakfast brought to your unit, or visit us Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. For an additional fee, you can access services at our Private Spa in Sante Atitlán, which include a jacuzzi, bio-pool, and temazcal. Guest access During your stay, you will enjoy: • Parking with direct access from the main paved road. • Shared Roof Top ideal for meditating, relaxing or working, with open views of the natural surroundings. • Semi-open deck facing the lake. • Direct access to the lake via stone stairs. • Private dock for arrival or departure by boat. • Carefully maintained gardens for rest and contemplation. Swimming in the lake is possible year-round and during daytime hours. Caution is advised due to the passage of boats and dinghies. Other things to note Tuk-tuks run from San Marcos from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The lakefront area is a community space (not private). We appreciate respecting local customs by avoiding nudity and excessive noise. Quiet hours: after 9:00 pm Visitors and pets are not allowed without prior authorization. Important natural environment: Being surrounded by nature, insects can appear, including scorpions and spiders. It is recommended not to leave wet clothes or towels on the floor and to check clothes before using them. Scorpion stings are not dangerous (temporary pain). Flat spiders are not harmful and help control mosquitoes.
