The space Just steps from the private beach you and your guests can enjoy the entire cottage, yard, multiple decks and lower patio for bonfires. If anyone has mobility issues, no worries as there are no stairs needed to enter the home and move about the living space which include a great room concept of a spacious living room, dining area that seats 8 and a kitchen. The private bedroom and 2nd semi-private bedroom and full bathroom round out the main level. You will need to maneuver stairs to enjoy the primary bedroom ensuite on the 2nd level and the beach, but the view is breathtaking on the covered porch which requires NO STAIR USE. All hardwoods throughout. PLEASE note, due to wind/weather and tides, the lower deck furniture and fire-pit/chairs on the beach patio are put out for guest use between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Bedroom layout: Main level has a private queen bedroom and off the back of the house is the semi private bedroom with a king bed. To access the private primary en-suite, you’ll pass through the semi-private room (which has a curtain for privacy) and head up the stairs. The upstairs suite is private with a barn style door. All beds are adjustable beds for relaxation/reading enjoyment. Wonderful beach feel cottage. You'll be wishing you had more time to sit back and relax, to take in the sounds of the lapping water or sitting back to watch the heron, eagles, osprey, migratory winter birds, seagulls, seals and other wildlife that call this bay home. Guest access You'll be able to enjoy the entire cottage, yard and beach area. We currently lock off the garage for owner use only. Please be respectful of this. The cottage is not a shared space with anyone. This is our vacation home that we choose to share with others. We do not allow use of the row boat. Early check in? Please ask on the day before arrival for an early check of 1:00 pm or later AND if we can accommodate, we will be happy to do so with a $100 early check in fee. If guest arrives ANY time before 4:00 pm and hasn’t been approved to do so and/or paid an early check in fee you will be charged an early check in fee of $100. The front door has locks that notify us when they’re unlocked and locked. Plus exterior cameras. Check in 4:00 pm or later. Late arrivals welcome. Check out: 10:00 am or earlier. Other things to note NO extra guests at ANYTIME beyond what your reservation count. No pets are allowed. Your entire party will be asked to immediately vacate due to volition of our rules and as outlined in the Airbnb rules/regulations for rule violations. You will not be entitled to any refund. Please provide your own water toys; kayaks, canoe, paddle boards, other flotation items and most certainly, your own personal flotation safety devices (life vests!) We also encourage you to bring water shoes as the beach is rocky the first 10-15 feet out. But once the tide is out, the mud/sand bed is soft and squishy! We ask that you PLEASE wash off outside-there is a water spigot off the deck on the grass area. Because we don’t reside on-site, we do have three exterior only cameras. No cameras inside. Max guest count anytime: 7, unless otherwise approved. No guests beyond your booked amount unless otherwise approved. See note above. Cameras. There are four. One above garage looking at the entire driveway. One inside the garage window by the BBQ, one on the upper deck pointing down to the lower deck and one on the lower deck pointing to the beach. They are monitored and recorded without sound. Any guest attempting to disengage/move or otherwise disengage any camera will be cause for immediate removal of the entire party from the property. We don’t monitor the cameras other than a notice when a guest first arrives. But, we can review footage if any concerns are brought to our attention.
