Welcome to our peaceful sunny home nestled at the edge of the woods. We have a well-equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, heated floors, and fast WiFi. Unwind on the cozy window seat, explore LP's and board games, watch a movie, go for a walk through the trails in our backyard, or jam on drums+guitar in the clubhouse . Delicious eats, drinks, groceries, hiking, skiing, arts, movies, shopping, and an Amtrak train station are all within a 30 minute drive. The space Enter through our airy sun-room that doubles as a living room and dining room (with large 8-seat dining table). The open kitchen has an island for socializing while cooking and eating on the fly, different forms of coffee (drip, pour over), well-stocked cookware and spice rack, an Instant Pot, and a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The second living room has a long window seat (perfect spot for reading and napping), record player, karaoke machine, video projector, DVD player, and selection of books and board games. The primary bedroom with full en-suite bathroom is located on the first floor. Up the stairs is a second full bathroom and two additional bedrooms, each equipped with a desk. There is air conditioning in the living room / kitchen, and all 3 bedrooms. High-speed WiFi is accessible throughout the house. The 17-acre property includes about 1 km of walking trails and a separate "clubhouse" that is a favorite hang-out spot for kids (and adults). Enjoy coffee in the garden, cook a delicious meal on the Weber grill, eat at the picnic table, and make s'mores at the fire pit. Food / Things to do close-by: 6 minutes: Stoneledge Farm Store (open weekends Spring to Fall- produce, local dairy, meat) 7 minutes: Red Star Bakery (our favorite cafe), Hannaford Supermarket, Spirits of Cairo (wine and liquor boutique) 10 minutes: Gracie's Luncheonette (upscale diner) and Casa Susanna (one of the best new restaurants in the Catskills) 15 minutes: Zoom Flume Water Park, Julia's Local (delicious eats) 20 minutes: The towns of Hudson and Catskill (more delicious eats and drinks, shopping; Amtrak station in Hudson), Olana State Historic Site, Glen Falls House (eats and music) 25 minutes: Kaaterskill Falls trailhead (Haines Falls), Escarpment trailhead (Windham) 30 minutes: Windham Ski Resort 40 minutes: Hunter Mountain Resort, the town of Woodstock 1 hour: Belleayre Mountain Resort Guest access Guests are welcome to use all spaces except for the barn.
