You and your loved ones will be close to everything when you stay at Country Rose retreat in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Only minutes away from Shenandoah National Park, river, Luray Caverns, and all seasons Massanutten Ski Resort. Spend the day enjoying some Mountain View’s while hiking, horseback riding, wine tasting, getting lost in a garden maze, exploring the zoo, caverns, skiing, or stay in and gather around for game night. You are sure to make some great memories! The space This house is all you will need no matter what brings you to the area. Located on East Main Street in Stanley, VA and only 7 miles from Luray, VA. You can take in the fresh country air and Mountain View’s from the front porch, patio or around the fire pit. Roast marshmallows, sip wine, make s’mores, play some corn hole, and other life size board games. You can walk to the playground and stop by the coffee shop. In the summer, you can swim at Hawksbill Pool, walk to the homecoming carnival and the parade goes right past the house in July. Parking: You will have free private parking in the gravel driveway located parallel to the house and can accommodate two to three vehicles. There is also an EV charging station at the nearby playground. About a 5 minute walk. Country Rose Retreat was our first home. Lots of wonderful memories were created here. You can relax and enjoy some quiet time with your loved ones and feel right at home. Our guests enjoy the cozy living room, comfortable clean beds, fully stocked kitchen, bathroom and laundry area. Family friendly!!! Your family will enjoy the variety of games, cards, crafts, coloring books, puzzles, books, toys, arcade game, corn hole, and life size connect four, Sorry, Yahtzee and other seasonal activities. There is a pac-n-play with bassinet and changing table, baby gate, stool, high chair and kids utensils. Guest access You can access all parts of the house except for the storage room off the dinning area. Other things to note During this HEATWAVE it’s best to set thermostat at 70 degrees and leave it on auto/cool. We have added 2 AC window units and fans to help circulate the air. Closing the curtains/blinds also helps keep the house cool. All beds and pillows have protective covers and sheets, pillowcases, throw blankets, shams, and comforters are cleaned after every use! You can feel at ease knowing we take the extra care and effort. Trash pick up is on Thursday morning. We will be by to take the town trash cans down to the road and back. Sorry, there is no recycling cans available. Both cans provided by the town are for trash. The town water is safe to drink and tastes good. The smart Roku TV will require your streaming account info. to access some features. Please remember to log out of your accounts. The house is walking distance from train tracks and the train runs multiple times a day. Smoking is only allowed outside and two ash trays are provided on the porch and patio. Please don’t throw cigarettes on the ground. The swing set is on our neighbors property and not part of our Airbnb. However, there is a wonderful playground just walking distance at Ed Good Park. About a 5 minute walk. The light switch to the laundry area light is located in the locked storage area. You can just unscrew the bulb if you want the light off but it’s okay to leave it on. The bathroom overhead light has Bluetooth feature. You can connect your smartphone using the wireless internet and play your favorite music using Spotify app or other music app.
