Rainy Hill Retreat - The Loft

Once you step onto the property, you will automatically feel yourself unwind and all your senses will come to life! The smell of fresh air, along with the sound of birds and the gentle swooshing of trees, the sense of serenity is undeniable. The Loft is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life without giving up the luxuries that city life offers. Whether your stay is for a romantic getaway, a wedding or to simply getaway for the weekend, The Loft is just what you need! The space The Loft is accessible by a flight of stairs and is located on the top floor of an architecturally designed rammed earth shed, completely seperate and privately located approximately 40 metres from the main house. It offers comfort with king size bed, quality bed linen, tea and coffee facilities, microwave and fridge/freezer and views of the natural bush below. Unfortunately we are not set up for children and babies. We are adults only accommodation. The Loft has a beautiful relaxing feel, the room is spacious and the tranquil view of the gum trees through the picture window is wonderful. If you are lucky you can watch the Wallabies feed from the room. There is a large amount of bird life in the area from Wedge Tailed Eagles, Black and White Cockatoos, Kookaburras, Rosellas, King Parrots and a vast array of small Finches and Nectar eating birds. There are no cooking facilities apart from a kettle, fridge, microwave and toaster, but if a weekend away from all that is what you are after there are many great restaurants and takeaway places, or perhaps put a platter together and enjoy with a glass of wine in your apartment. Tea and coffee facilities are provided. When finding our place you will see a flying pig letter box and a gate with a sign saying Rainy Hill Retreat. Please open gate and come in. Please note that if you are looking for accommodation walking distance shops and cafes then we aren’t for you as we are amongst bush and farm land. The nearest shop is a short 4 kilometres drive to Cockatoo Main Street or 6 kilometres to Gembrook. Guest access Guests can wander around the property as they please.
