Once past the entrance gate, the illuminated driveway flanked by Mediterranean plants, fig trees, and local stone walls leads to the parking area. A few meters away, the main house's entrance driveway, about 140 sqm with a large covered outdoor patio, runs alongside the guesthouse, which hosts two independent bedrooms. The main house, with its distinctive wooden roof and vault, features a spacious living room with a masonry open kitchen equipped with a ventilated oven and stocked with all dishes, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, and a small laundry with a washing machine. A large and loving outdoor patio with a wooden roof supported by impressive and beautiful tuff columns surrounds the house. In the largest area of the patio, overlooking the garden and the pool, there is a large handmade oak and olive wood table and a small lounge area. Further on, a barbecue and a wood oven for pizzas equipped with all tools, a stone sink, and marble worktops, useful for preparing delicious dishes by fire. The beautiful garden and pool with a solarium area are just steps away. The barbecue made of tuff and local stone is perfect for your outdoor dinners immersed in the lush nature of Salento, among the chirping of crickets and the pleasant coolness mitigated by the red earth on warm summer evenings. The bedrooms: There are a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 in the main house and 2 in the guesthouse. Each room features a wardrobe, comfortable wrought iron beds in the main house, with hypoallergenic mattresses and fresh cotton linens. Each room has a window that makes it bright and airy, overlooking the surrounding countryside. The two independent guesthouse rooms each have a double bed plus a single bed, autonomous access, a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a small refrigerator, LCD TV, and blackout curtains. Both share an additional front patio, furnished with coffee tables and chairs. The pool: The pool is located 10 meters from the main house and is reachable by crossing the lawn. It offers a large solarium area with sunbeds, an umbrella, and a gazebo. It measures 5m by 3m and has a maximum depth of 1.5m, accessible from a shallow area via two comfortable steps. Water mattresses and inflatables for children, if requested, are available. The pool is active from May to October. Outdoors: In the rear part of the main house, an outdoor shower and the typical Mediterranean clothesline for natural drying of garments.
