Sand Reef Cottage resides in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with adorable homes, right by the Shops at Grayton Beach, across from the state park and trails. Across the street from our Grayton Cove neighborhood, there is a safe, dedicated bike trail that will take you directly to the beach and also a free park and ride the free tram option. Take one of our six local brand Yolo beach cruisers, stop at the famous Red Bar and grab a bite to eat or a margarita, en route to one of the most beautiful beaches in all the world. ACCLAIM - BEST BEACHES, STATE PARK Hop on one of our Beach cruisers provided for our guests and park right on the beach. Grab a free trolly ride a block from the house to the beach or walk across the street and hike through state forest and Grayton Beach State Park along the edge of Western Lake to the oceans edge. Paddle board or kayak in the calm clear waters of the lake where it leads out to the open waters. Even on days where seas are rough, enjoy watching your kids swim in the adjacent calm waters of a rare coastal dune lake- the perfect beach for all ages. After a good day at the beach, enjoy dinner at Hurricane Oyster Bar or many other great local restaurants within easy walking distance of the house. Grab breakfast or an evening aperitif and live music at Black Bear Bakery. Many, many great spots to eat and drink in Grayton- no chains or big box stores. The 30A trolley, with a stop in Grayton, will take you up and down the beautiful Florida 30A coast, so you can easily enjoy some of the other quaint coastal communities for dining, shopping or beach-going. While we do everything possible to mitigate and prevent bugs, we will not stop all insects from trying to access the cottage. ➜ No Refunds for weather, power outages, or other incidents outside of our control. We do recommend our guests consider trip insurance. ➜ We have stocked the cabin with many items including start-up supplies. However, you will likely need to supplement with your own during your stay.
